Maximum Ultimate Build?

What is the maximum achievable Ulti-gen on a DK? I have tried below setup, and can generate app. 100 Ultimate every 12-15 seconds. So that would be something like 7-9 Ult / Second i guess?

I am using;

Tavas Favor
Hide og the Werewolf
Bloodspawn

Decisive Weapon Traits
Minor Heroism from Heroic Slash
Igneous/Fossilize for Passive (2ult every 6sec).
The obvious light attack generation

Is there anything i can do to increase my ult gen?

Is there any source for Major Heroism at all?

The idea is to try and see, how close i can get to spamming shield wall, back to back.

Major Heroism is the buff you get when you light/heavy attack or block an attack.

Akaviri Dragonguard will give you more ultimate usage . I have tried several times . Even in AOE fights where you get lots of damage , Dragon is still better . What I said is for Warhorn , I don't know how it will work for Shield Wall .

Invigorating Drain is one of the best ultigen skills in the game . Even though it is not that useful as a heal , it still gives 5 Ultimate per second . Beware that it requires you to drop block .

Major Heroism doesn't come from light attacks . It comes from the Blue CP tree , Last Stand passive . While light attack ultigen gives 3 Ultimate per second for 9 seconds which makes 27 Ultimate in total , Major Heroism gives 18 Ultimate over 8 seconds . They stack too .

Decisive Dual Wield and put the ultimate you want to use on back bar .

Guard someone else for more Blood Spawn procs . Guard damage is not dodgeable and will not proc Tava's .

    Hope I helped .

I have also considered Akaviri, and will test it. But as it is for synergy with a DK, it just seems to be more effective to stack generation instead of cost reduction, as i assume the reduction of cost, will have negative effects on the Battle Roar passive. But have actually never tested that. Have you? As in; Will the reduction in Ulti Cost from Akaviri, result in less resources from Battle Roar, as it would if you used an Ult with cheaper base cost.

Ha! Had completely forgotten about Envigorating Drain, since i am doing a Stambuild. Only problem is, that i want to be able to be "active" with my skills during the duration of Shield Wall, which is also where i want to generate ultimate (since the end-goal is chaining back-to-back Shield Wall). But i guess that Envigorating could work well as a CC, even on Stam build, and could be used when out of Ultimate duration.

The 3 Ultimate per sec for 9 Sec on light attack - what else exactly does this proc from ? I believe it also procs from healing yourself? Does it proc from blocking an attack ?

About Battle Roar , I think less cost + faster usage = more cost + slower usage . It doesn't make a huge difference .

Invigorating Drain is a nice stun definitely . Even as a Stamina player , you will be spamming Ultimates back to back so shouldn't have much problem with Magicka sustain . Invigorating Drain is definitely a good skill if you want maximum ultimate regeneration .

It procs from light attack , heavy attack and blocking . It doesn't proc from healing yourself or others , even if you actually heal from low health . I didn't pay much attention what other things proc it sadly .

120 points into the ritual tree will give you last stand (When you fall below 20% Health gain Major Heroism which grants 18 Ultimate over 8 seconds. Can only occur once every 20 seconds.)

I guess you could spam equilibrium to get to this threshold but that seems like a silly thing to do.

Akaviri Dragonguard doesn't reduce the amount of resources you get back from battle roar. For example if you use aggressive horn with that set, you'll get back 250 ult worth of resources, not 213.

3 points in to the fighterst guild passive for ultimate generated from killing zombies and daedra

While grinding at skyreach with my sorc and a 561, I was able to drop 5 atronach ultimates just off the first pull to the chest room with only that passive and heavy lightning staff attacks lol
