I've been running my magplar for sometime and now find myself trying to run more vet trials (vMoL, vAA etc) and I'm not sure my build is working as well as it could for these scenarios. Before the release of One Tamriel I completed vAA and vHelRa but it seems these have become harder since then. I'm wearing a TBS setup, and the group I run with now don't use a lot of war horns and even tho I have it slotted myself, I don't keep it up all the time as I feel I need to save my ultimate for shooting star on the bosses.

I'm able to sustain my magicka and generally stay alive assuming I don't do stupid.

High Elf, CP 561, all attribute points into Magicka.

Armour : 5-1-1 in 5xTBS, divines, max-magicka and 2xGrothdarr impenetrable , not ideal traits but was previously using Julianos divines shoulder and helm.
Jewellery : Willpower arcane with Spell Damage enchants
Mundus : Shadow & Thief

Running Julianos shoulder and helm in place of Grothdar adds about 5% to spell/weapon critical.

The rotation I try to aim for kicks off with elemental blockade followed by vampires bane and puncturing sweeps mixed with light attacks. I try to keep up channeled focus, ritual of retribution and blockade as best I can and keep popping the spell power potions.

From what I can tell, my rotation is using the right skills, I'm probably not executing it perfectly enough which is something that just needs practice.

I can't decide between the two precise or two sharpened swords. I know there was a thread recently that seemed to show sharpened was far better. All I can go by are the tool tips where precise shows me 7 percent more spell/weapon critical but the increased damage of the sharpened swords doesn't show on any of the tooltips so it's unclear how much effect they have. Similarly, if I swap out the Grothdar for two pieces of Julianos to go with the two swords, my spell/weapon crit goes up to 72%/47%


So, is there anything glaringly wrong with my setup?
