Snakeblood

Can we get this talent changed? It's fairly useless, as any potion combination that has a negative effect doesn't really have a reward for the risk.

An idea I had in mind was since Alchemy doesn't get a hireling or anything, that the passive be changed to increased drop rate on materials from living creatures, such as Torchbugs, Mudcrabs, Butterflies, Kwama, and Beetles.

The other idea I had, if ZOS is dead set on keeping the passive, that it also makes it so if the potion has a negative effect, it's positive effects are boosted. Whatever percentage that may be, I'll leave that up to balancing, but it'd open up more combinations of potions because right now it's pretty easy to just make a great potion without any negative effects whatsoever. This change for Snakeblood would make it so you can create a potion that, for example, heals a lot more than a regular potion would because it also drains magicka, which to the user of Snakeblood, does nothing but to anyone else it's poisonous(so the namesake actually makes sense, too.)

I think they should change it so it scales off your Missing Magicka.

Well they could Snakeblood work with poisons and make poisons more potent either by duration or affect.

I think the opposite, make it a combat resistance to poisons effects.

Why not half and half? Some extra poison potency and some extra poison resistance.

Yeah, that was the Skyrim effect for the perk, if I remember correctly: Increased poison resistance.

If it were up to me, my first thought would be for it to "flip" negative effects on potions, and positive effects on poisons. So a DoT on a potion would become a HoT, while a HoT on a poison would become a DoT effect.
