heh. such an funny clown you are. i been around since eso beta pvp:ing, i was never anywhere good until late last year when i started playing more of... hyprid type builds in pvp, i focus on utility instead of burst power, or full trolltank build type action.

i have seen both end of the aspects + the middle road.

i been on side where i see my faction aoe choo choo crush enemy multiple time bigger force, then ofc seen the opposite happen. my raid is averagely good as long as ppl dont get too greedy about ap and follow me if my mental state allows it so, not too drunk or not too.. obsessed of whatever. then i have guildies who just have amazing habits of actually following me. then i have guildies who just us duoing or trioing we do amazing things, BUT the best things been happening when its war out there and armies clash with each other, ppl die continuously on both side, but its hard to tell who dominant, thats the sort of thing eso pvp was meant to be, not by single inviduals controlling single fights or one raid destroying utterly and everything as easily as adult beats children to death.

what i would love to see is every single good/stronk/uber player put into one server, and watch them do their warfare. then see how much they enjoy it compared to crashing down on all those weaklings we see all over the cyrodiil.

So basically you're tired of getting 1vx'd and want all the better more organized players to be separated so that you can hopefully win some of your fights.

Nice gameplay. (and I mean this)

1/10 for using hist bark exploit.
Also see overload bar, magelight, bound aegis and double mundus buffs showing in UI some of the time?
And overload bar slotted but never used.
Could be UI error, could be exploit...

I vote for exploit, it is popular in this game, maybe with a dash of cheat engine, who knows /shrug
I don't bother watching these videos, I see it live everyday in pvp /shrug

People still doing mental gymnastics to claim something they know nothing about. Refer to Minalan's comment for a response from faso above.
Faso doesn't do this for attention, its just fun to make videos and put out funny/cool to watch content.
Ever since the CE fiasco the "90%" have been claiming CE, Exploits, etc. Calm down folks.

Good thing some of us have better known alts.
How about screenshots of him asking to sell the exploit for gold?.....could start some forum popcorn with that one.

Faso has dealt with that with zos directly.

so, uh, wtf kind of emp runs eternal hunt?

I haven't seen an emp get so handily defeated in a duel since 1.5 when @Sypher rekt Zangief's red DK emp behind aleswell mine

Good vid tho, pirate skeleton is soooo dirty on mag sorc, eliminates the need to stack obscene amounts of max magika, allowing for more efficient sources of damage. Well played

Edit: I'm not sure what's going on at 7:53. No accusations at all, though

    nvm, http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Meridia’s+Blessed+Armor+Set

You can see him proc it on the NB by blocking then continue to dodge attacks for 5 seconds from said NB, then there's no more "suspicious" dodges for 5 seconds. He then procs it on the templar, gets 2 dodges, templar stops to res and he doesn't dodge attacks from the other yellow. Furthermore, this explains his willingness to use dark exchange, since he knows he's got enough stam.

I suspect this is also a part of @Xinthisis tanks build ;) Can we stop accusing people of exploiting now?

I really wanted give those videos a thorough examination but the horrible music he is playing is murdering my ears on a cellular level.

I'm just going to assume he's cheating because anyone who would subject another person to that music would obviously be completely without scrupples.

Seriously though, I guess we need to DEFINE CHEATING. Is using tricks to "lock in" the bonuses of sets like Hist Bark and others while you swap to other sets for indefinite stacked buffs cheating? Is using glitches and tricks to effectively wear extra 5 piece sets beyond the number of item slots available cheating?

Because there are sets that produce these effects legitimately in the game, but the question becomes, can someone be making the 'hard choices' to use those sets instead of other things and still be a "PVP GOD", or are they stacking them illegitimately with regular BIS gear?

I don't even know anymore, but I'm tired of asking these questions. What IS cheating? What IS the definition of IS?

All I know is I've never played another game with so many WTF moments where you don't know why things are happening and if it's cheating, broken sets, server failure, bad tooltips that don't reflect what sets actually do, etc.

It's the best set in game for dueling. By a wide margin. He probably took his dueling build out for open world. 39k mag is low, light armor does nothing for magika. Resists have a place for sorc in a meta where 1 button melts your shield stack.

Seriously, watch the video and find one occurrence of a suspicious dodge that isn't preceded by blocking. Also, what's his health pool again?

Edit: Sorry duelers to be the one that let the cat out of the bag, incoming meridias dueling meta.

Actually, I'm not even done with you @Yolokin_Swagonborn

This set scales poorly against numbers, that's why you see the dodges only in segments of the video where he's against lesser numbers. In the clip just before 7:53 he was fighting much larger numbers than in the "suspicious" clips

The damage reduction on that set *really* shouldn't apply to shields. But it does, making them 30% larger effectively.

It's a less well known 'benefit' of the set.

Let ZOS decide if the person who is or is not guilty. (Depends on ZOS honestly, but no one else's) If ZOS deemed the person is guilty. Then let it be so. Sadly. It is ZOS's fault for leaving exploits in the game, it's the player's fault for using them.
This exploit requires an active action from the player who very well knows that he is trying to achieve something unintended by the devs in order to gain an unfair advantage. In this case getting a free 20% dodge chance.

There's no exploit, I've clearly explained in the thread what's happening in the "suspicious" parts of the video in great detail. He's not exploiting hist bark. I don't even like Faso because of his ties to German, as petty as that may sound, but I've seen the video and it took all of 5 minutes of looking at item sets to figure out what was going on, he's only dodging attacks from 1 target and only in a 5 second window and its ALWAYS triggered by block. When you watch the video the first time it looks weird as hell, but when you watch it and keep in mind the mechanics of the set he's wearing, its totally logical.

People(not you etaniel) really need to stop accusing people of cheating just because they're too dumb to spend 5 minutes looking at a list of sets and figuring out if there's a mechanic in game that creates the effect they believe to be cheating. In this case, its obviously not cheating and everyone on here that accused Faso should be embarrassed and ashamed, this is an absolute joke.

    Ok
I can observe the following from watching last part of the video:
He is using 1 piece heavy, seen from the constitution ticks every 4 seconds, giving abit less than 200 stamina and magicka back. This means that if he is using Meridia set, he has 3 jewelry (healthy trait), staff and 1 armor piece.

He has about 1700 stamina recovery.
He has about 2100 magicka recovery.
    He has 39,4k magicka
    He has 14,4k stamina

Now I haven't tested Meridia set yet to see if it actually looks like a dodge on the recieving end.

But tell me how the above stats are possible??

If it's any consolation I only mildly disagree with you. Shield stacking is still pretty strong, it doesn't really need pirate set buffs on top of all that.

I'd hate to see the stack get nerfed because of one set. People are already crying about shield stacks again, because anything that doesn't die to one proc set crit rush heavy combo has to go.

And finally while many sets augment healing received, blocking, and dodge rolling this is really the only one that complements shields.

It adds diversity beyond stacking magicka, damage, or procs.

Pirate encourages build diversity so much though, 40k mag gives ~20k stack on sorcs, pirate makes that effectively larger so we can do something other than stack max mag.

On light armor mageblade pirate is amazing as well and honestly, if this proc didn't effect shields the set becomes totally worthless

Will confirm Pirates is really strong on most magicka shield based builds.

Faso did confirm he was using different setups in each clip and its worth noting that the only way to know how something works is to test it yourself.

People will believe what they want to believe, as seen one of the first comments is talking about a overload bug. Meanwhile, faso doesn't even have overload on his bar.

Actually, I'm not even done with you @Yolokin_Swagonborn

This set scales poorly against numbers, that's why you see the dodges only in segments of the video where he's against lesser numbers. In the clip just before 7:53 he was fighting much larger numbers than in the "suspicious" clips

Misses (as from meridias) are shown as miss. The same as someone "dodging" an ability with cloaks forced miss.

Dodge comes from dodging attacks which does not happen with meridia.

Lol. The magicka/stamina is from tri food and 5/1/1. It's not difficult. The regen? You're false on those numbers (mainly the magicka). The setup he has been using the most recently (although he does use different setups in the video in each clip AFAIK) is a standard setup 2x undaunted, 5x set and 3x jewellery. His magicka regen is from dark conversion, so he doesn't have 2.1k magicka regen and I'm pretty sure he doesn't have 1.7k stamina regen, but it may be close to that number. So the question is, if he's using dark conversion to sustain magicka, how is he sustaining stam?

    It's pretty simple.

Atleast it´s pretty simple to rule out both meridia and spectres eye as a reason for dodging ;)
