Which Class, Race Mag/Stam is the New Meta for Vet Trials now?

With update 13 coming up (with different buffs and nerfs), I wanted to ask the community which Class, Race Mag/Stam is the new Meta for PvE?

I have seen posts that stamina characters are not optimal/preferred in Vet Trials and that magikca characters are preferred. I was only able to complete each normal trial a couple of times with a Bosmer Stam NB, giving out average DPS.

Classes-Race that comes to mind are:

Sorc-Altmer/Breton
DK-Dunmer/Altmer

I had to leave the trial guild as I could not get TS working (Some Countries Block VOIP, its crazy I know), plus I have a standard best ping of 300-400ms which makes even regular dungeons suck in game play for me. Due to this reason I don't even ask for getting in a group as it's counter productive for everyone else.

Now, the only thing I can do is (till I relocate in a few months) level an Alt while playing solo and farming some gear.

I would appreciate a suggestion from the community as to what is the new meta for trial DPS. I understand that there is no such thing as true balance, there is always bound to be some meta.

Dunmer DK. Flame front bar, lit back bar = best of everything good coming.

Breton sorc is a poor choice also.

Redguard stam sorc / stam DK will still be top. Races like Kaijit / nightblades will suffer the most, higher crit chance and crit damage builds will suffer the biggest losses to warhorn etc...

The build really depends on what trial for a DK tbh.

Generally I'd go with. Inferno bar. Embers, engulfing flames, inner light, whip or crushing shock and dampen magic.

Lit bar, talon or chains (for instance 1st boss in mol talons 2nd boss chains) pulsar (again makes the adds on 2nd boss 10% quicker to kill) deep breath (chains+pulsar then interrupt) eruption which is a good dot aoe for procs) and molten armaments.

Gear I'm unsure for next update. I'd probably ditch Tbs for a magdk, controversial I know and run 5 bsw, you get 3% more crit but gain up to and over 1k spell damage fully buffed and procd. Has to be better than running at 2400 for the sake of 1.15 crit boost surely. Aether or Moondancer 3pc.

Grothdar is probably still the way to go and vma staves, if you don't have them general crafted ones (or sharp aether or Moondancer but good luck getting them) with power or crushing glyph.

@DRXHarbinger Thanks, which builds would you suggest I follow, if you can point me to the right direction I can get started.

As for race, Dunmer is the "one race to rule them all" for mag classes for quite a while because of it's extra %7 flame damage passive as the main source of dps for all mag classes is blockade of fire. Also %6 stam is nice because you have to block in certain situations (The warrior, The Mage, Rakkhat's threshing wings etc.)

As for class, mag dk is going to be the winner for melee & mag sorc range. But, in order to use the potential of the classes you should play them as your mains and spend time to master the rotations. There are so many players with BIS gear that jump on the bandwagon and fail terribly because they don't know the class they play/not their playstyle. So i suggest you to choose one class that you feel it fits your playstyle most and stick to it for a while.

I completely agree that i have to play this alt as my main for quite a while, with my current situation I will be able to only solo (after all the quests for skill points and what not).

Do you have a recommendation for which area is best to train and then test one's skills in PvE? (For PvP I am planning to spam heal a zerg to get a few skill points and abilities

)
