Now it needs me to make a potion from ingredients only obtained from the Imperial City hehe - time to get my ass kicked

There's no such thing as "top high end areas" anymore. Everything everywhere is scaled to level 50 CP160, and if you're below that you're scaled up to be able to do it.LotusBladedancer wrote: »JasonSilverSpring wrote: »You can just find that out in the world in water areas or water bags. Where abouts? I'm only Lev 35 so going to top high end areas would be suicide.

It was something called an 'Essence of Stamina' potion I needed to make using some solvent called Lokhans tears (not sure of the exact spelling) ..
So a quick google told me I needed to get some of these stones from the IC to buy them ...

As far as where Lorkhan's Tears drops, well it drops in every single zone in the game because all crafting mats now scale in all zones. What that means is that when you go to a node that node has a 50% chance of being scaled to your character's level (so in your case you'd get mats of the right level for a level 35 character) and a 50% chance of being scaled to the maximum level your character can craft (so if the writ is asking for a potion that requires Lorkhan's Tears you can craft max-level potions, and you'd have a 50% chance of getting Lorkhan's Tears from any water node). Just look for water skins or for the splashing water areas in rivers.

Ahh, thanks for the information... Seems the 18 months I have been gone have brought in a lot of changes
There are no high end areas.
All areas are the same level. Each character is individually battle-scaled up to approximate that level.
Noob characters get a lot of boosting, to compensate for a lack of set gear and lack of skill points. That boost gets smaller and smaller as you level.
It's been said that mid-30's is the sweet spot of most boost while able to have enough skill points to run a build.
