Help me find the motivation again

Hey guys, I have some noobish question for you about eso.
I'v just hit the end-game and now i'm farming gold/champion. I really didn't ever go in a dungeon and just 2 times in cyrodill.

In the beginning I choose to be a pure nb archer, then I moved to sap-tank because i'm an argonian and everyone told me to do that on forum.
But now after months, I started again to play and decided to start back with my original idea: to be a pure archer. That's the gamestyle i like.

I know my class really doesn't suits a bow gameplay because of my racial passives, but also i think these help just a bit. The difference is not so big and I'm not gonna be a bosmer cause i dont like that race :)

So I have these questions for you guys:
1) how can I get nice equipment without doing dungeons?
2) im a loner player, can i get some equip from soloing pve content?
3) if i farm gold like hell, is possible to buy nice archer-equipment?
4) what profession could help me to achieve my goal? I mean be a decent archer in pvp. I'm lvling provisioning and woodworking
5) got any build/guide for me?

I made this post just to find again the motivation to play this game again, and because I really know just the leveling aspect of eso, not the endgame contents :)

ps. I have imperial city dlc + merchant for fast selling gold!

Just throwing an idea: go for Marksman's Crest and Hawk Eye sets: they'll boost your damage while giving you a nice bump to your stamina management. You're going to need it since you'll need to be the pesky player sniping from the corner in pvp.
Don't engage large groups of enemy, bows are not for that kind of playstyle.
Slot a powered 2h sword on backbar so that you can rely on Shadowy Disguise + Rally to Crit Heal and get the most out of your racial passives.

You could even use Eternal Hunter set to slow down chasers.

One question: why no dungeon at all?

Listen, if you want to play a pure archer, just play a pure archer ffs, this is a game after all and you should have fun.

    1) How can I get nice equipment without doing dungeons?

After 1 Tamriel patch we got world sets, which are sets only obtainable in a specific region. You should google them and check which one would be best for you. Those armor / weapons can be obtained in public dungeons / dolmens / world bosses, so you don't have to run any dungeon (although dungeons are fun, you could give them a try).

    2) Im a loner player, can i get some equip from soloing pve content?

Yeah, check answer number 1. World bosses are not soloable but public dungeons and dolmens are (even though you'll always find other players farming around).

    3) If i farm gold like hell, is possible to buy nice archer-equipment?

There is the marksman set which is great for archers, but it's a pvp set. For pve, you could try "hawk's eye".

    4) What profession could help me to achieve my goal? I mean be a decent archer in pvp. I'm lvling provisioning and woodworking.

I would level them all, they don't take that long and you can get profit from all of them.

    5) Got any build/guide for me?

I am a bosmer archer myself, even though I use bow AND dual wield. I followed Deltia's guide for PVE nightblade, he also has PVP builds. Just take a build as a guide and modify it adding the skills you like the most so you'll get your own personal build

Edited to add that english is not my 1st language and since this is a long reply there will probably be mistakes

thanks, any way to use only bow? obviously im going to a meele second bar if needed.
Because I like independancy, I mean don't have time to follow a guild, people etc. Maybe I still have the idea of vanilla wow's dungeons, like stay 4hours in it. It's not for me

very nice, I didn't know about public/region dungeons! I'm going to check those out.
Is there any kind of 'dungeon finder' in game? or just spam to find party for the public dungeon?

I will also check the 2 sets you guys suggested me, hawk's eye and marksman

@aemanius Yeah there is a dungeon finder! It is sometimes bugged but it works most of the time.

When you are playing just press "P" -> "dungeon finder". You can do 1 random normal / veteran dungeon each day for a ton of xp, but you can also look for specific dungeons in case you want to do the quests there or just explore them cause you've never been there.

If you're a DD the queue will take longer than if you're a tank / healer, but if you are a solo player and don't belong to any pve guild that's the best way for you to run a 4 man dungeon ^^

awesome :) so right now i'm a tank I could try to go as a tank to better queue priority. How the loots work? Can I get items for archer if I'm in the dungeon as a tank?

    thanks itehache

    No problem!

If you are a tank, make sure you have a taunt slotted in your skill bar! The easier one to unlock is from skill line " 1 hand & shield ", the first one (if i recall correctly the name is pierced armor, or something like that).

Every dungeon gives different sets  It works similar to the region ones. Once again google is your friend to check which dungeon gives which set

And yeah, you can run the dungeons with any character you like and still get the "archer" gear. All the gear you collect from a dungeon is bound to your account, but not to your character, so you can run all the dungeons you want with the tank to collect gear for your dd archer.

Listen, just a heads up, don't let close minded players ruin your experience if you go into dungeons. People will kick players whose build don't line up with the meta. There was a huge thread on this very thing, actually, and how this player got kicked b/c he was 'selfish' for his build.

In either case, just shrug it off. Kicks happen. A**holes are everywhere. So long as mods are dying and there's progression in the dungeon, then don't sweat the naysayers. Play to have fun. :)

Good questions you have, and I could write a book in giving you the answers. So, instead of having to write a novel here for you, the quick answer is youtube. There is no easier way, if you have the patience to do the search, than those how-to, show me, and look at me, I'm very good at ESO, type clips. There are all kinds of those clips (from PvE to PvP and look at my badass builds) to answer all your questions. Plus, all are in voice explanation and instructions, versus having to read and trying to digest what someone is trying to explain things in writing. Also, those clips of dudes and dudettes showing walk or play throughs and real time actions of folks going through the dungeons and trials are quite entertaining to watch.. and hopefully those clips could motivate you and may kick start your good lonely heart. Additionally, throughout the posting within this forums are written posts and replies of discussions pertaining to your questions and topics, if you have the mind to shift through.

So, check out those youtube clips and check/scroll throughout this ESO forum, from time to time (every other day should be fine) and you will be more informed on how to better yourself and enjoy the experience of ESO more. I don't expect you to scroll back months of previous posting, but you will find your answers, if you have the mind to do so. That is actually what I did, almost a year ago, and I am still checking in to this forum at certain times and days of the week to see what information are being put out and what discussion are going on that I may benefit from.

Ha ha.. not that it matters, but just for principle.. where have you been playing?! Any world boss pits are soloable and folks are soloing it, even most normal dungeons (and certain vet dungeon) are being soloed. I solo those damn things all the time (just because I'm a loner at heart, plus a lot of people don't like me in the game.) You just have to have high enough CPs and distribute adequately in pertinent slots within the Champion constellation/tree, have good sustainability/build and dps output is fair enough.

    Guild Stores.
Regional sets. (both in random drops, treasure chest farming, and DLC regions daily mission rewards)
And if you are good enough, you can also farm VMA...
    aemanius wrote: »
    2) im a loner player, can i get some equip from soloing pve content?
Sure. Since One Tamriel its easy enough, you have the regional sets, that drop from dwelve bosses, are found in treasure chests and overland world bosses or dolmen... (where you can just jump in the fight if others are there, even as solo player) - and of course, the additional loot means more of it shows up in guild stores as well...
If you have the DLCs, their dailies also drop gear loot boxes, and half the dailies are soloable (and the rest are of the "just join in with others" type)
    aemanius wrote: »
    3) if i farm gold like hell, is possible to buy nice archer-equipment?
Certainly, you just need some legwork to find the right pieces in the various guild stores. Remember, if you have a crafting character, its often better to buy green or blue quality cheap, and upgrade it to purple on your own...
    aemanius wrote: »
    4) what profession could help me to achieve my goal? I mean be a decent archer in pvp. I'm lvling provisioning and woodworking
Best crafting mixup is grouping all the equipment crafting skills in one alt, so you have only one who needs all those motivs.
That also has all the upgrading in one place, but can be a bit tight on the skill points.
    aemanius wrote: »

There are dozends on the 'net. Personally i find it much more fun to find out what works best for your own fighting style...
