Please god stop promoting the transmog idea, it's terrible. It literally takes all the fun out of a game when everything is accessible for everyone all the time. I use crafted sets and dropped sets on all my chars with no problems.. it's fun to have both options. If you hate your armor you can always wear a costume (which I personally think is pretty stupid as well) if anything, make dropped armors more interestig but I really don't think it's necessary

Nope, motifs serve no purpose when your maxed out on characters with the sets you want. The argonian style is awful too look at IMO. Costumes are an excuse with an all or nothing option. Taking the fun out of the game would be the options you listed,everyone's a clone.

Really ? It takes "all the fun out of the game" ? All of it ? Out of all the MMO boards I watch not one has anyone saying anything remotely like this .

Why do anything then if u can just change it later - im sure u guys want class switch tokens wep transmog and a silver teaspoon serving you easy scrolls

Its funny you guys act like people won't gravitate to the same motifs and end up looking even more similar lol

Everyone has different tastes, so I seriously doubt everyone will look alike. Also, WGaF???

I think having to use crafted sets (as they are now) to use my motifs is removing fun from the game. The good crafted sets are so gd boring, all flat stat increases. The interesting ones with procs all suck, you can try and argue for Morkuldin, but they seriously are not impressive whatsoever.

I want crafted sets reworked, and I want the option to be able to ACTUALLY USE all of the motifs I've spent all my money on if it so happens that I find looted sets to be more fun or effective.

No it isn't.

It just would give people another option.

Nothing else.

Nothing more would be available, except they could just have a third option between "wear armor as it drops" and "wear costume for canned look".

And any well done transmogrification system would come with a cost in resources, so they would have to do extra questing to get the stuff they need to make their stuff look like they like... no free lunch here, just another option to work the game for something people might want. (and as usual, an short cut in the crown store, for those with more money then patience)

And people who didn't like the option... wouldn't have to use it!

You might like looking like Leatherface, or a Strangler Vine, or a mutant spider, two versions of a crocodile, glowing orb in a compost pile, weird mutant turtle, and whatever the heck Velidreth is supposed to be [and I know I'm missing some], but I would rather use the helm with the look I really want. Light/medium skinchanger helm [or any of the other motifs I learned] for my ww, or a mutant spider face?

Please god stop demeaning the transmog idea, it's terrible. It literally takes all the fun out of a game when people poop on fun ideas that don't hurt the game in anyway. I use crafted sets and dropped sets on all my chars with no problems, but some sort of outfitting system would still be fun. If you hate the system you can not use it and shut up (which I personally think you should do) or get your head out of your rear end and try it. Maybe you will have fun.

Reworking crafted sets I can understand.

The rest just strips out all of the reward - can't farm a divines valk skoria helm? No prob I'll transmog to it and use something lesser.

I'm not surprised you guys disagree many people of the forums beg for the sense of reward to be stripped from the game in the name of "fairness." Most are just lazy players.. I want to change classes without working, I want my Alts to start at 50, my riding ability should transfer. I'm sure you would love it if zos just played the game for you while you sit in your cosmetic house playing dress up...
