Legendary system Rank

With most people already caught up in the Champion point cap, and how easier it is to grind to max cp, why not introduce a new ranking system for the maxed cp players? The idea of a legendary rank system comes from the skyrim game of elder scrolls V, where the developers implemented the legendary system on its tree skill line. It was implemented after about a year or two to make it challenging for the player. This new ranking system in my opinion should come with the option to choose which skill line and champion point rank to change to Legendary mode. Whether the Legendary mode makes a champion point branch or skill line more effective depends on how much more advantages it will get by the game developers. Also with the extra cp that the players have, can it count towards the legendary ranking system? (i.e. 10cp or 50cp = 1 legendary point, only after the player is maxed out in champoin points). This was just a thought that I'm pretty sure most people above Cp rank would like to see their champion points being used.

Fun trivia: When the Champion system was first implemented, there was no cap. You could (theoretically) grind to 3600, as fast as you were able. And people tried. The first 1k CRs popped up within a couple months of the system being implemented. The entire point behind the Champion Point cap was to keep players from becoming egregiously more powerful than others, particularly in PvP.

[sarcasm]So... I see no way this would lead to horrific imbalances of the variety that originally led to the CR cap being implemented.[/sarcasm]

I have over a thousand CPs and I don't want to see anything that would increase the power of the champion system. It's completely op already, no need for more. Too much power creep is bad mkay?

No. CP system is enough already. We don't need even more systems to have to worry about

Is there any proof for this statement?

From what I see when I mouse-over players in-game I would doubt if even 50% were at cap.

whether its powerful or not depends on how the developers would make it, so you wouldn't like to see your extra cp being used for something else?

The question isn't about your CP being used for something. The issue is the power level of someone who just entered cyrodiil for the first time vs someone who has 1k CP. Currently, there's a significant power jump between CR10 and CR561, but it's not insurmountable, and climbing through the low CR goes fairly quickly (I'm told). But, if you start adding in more power incentives to the CR system, it will widen that gap further, making entry into PvP prohibitive, and further crippling that chunk of the community. It will also lead to people getting bored and tuning out because everything's become too easy, or stonewalling players who haven't ground to cap yet because new content is flat out too difficult. Something we already saw a little bit with the Dark Brotherhood bosses.

Nope, not at all. I repeat myself: the CP system is OP. It needs to be toned down, not buffed up even more.

If they do something like this, it has to be for bonuses that don't give a competitive advantage.

I would be OK with achievements at 500/750/1000/1500... points with some decoration buyable for those achievements or any other cosmetics, but no more power for character.

I prefer they remove the CP system at least on all PVP campaigns (to help reduce lag). And make a PVE version of Cyrodiil where the CP works like other PVE zones (again, this will help reduce lag)

Like other said, if they implement your idea it must be without giving you any competitive advantage other than clearing up all your the progress done in the selected skill-line (along with their morphs) and leave that skill-line at level 6 (because that is the max level you can get if you read books through the entire world).

In general the number of players currently that have 561 CP are outnumbered by those who are lower. I run into a lot of players that are still between 1 - 300 CP. There's no need for further expansion.
