Freezing and crashing since lasty patch

I have played ESO for over a year now nad nver had thioas before. My game is Freezing then crashing every 20 minutyes. This has only happened since the last patch. Has anyone else had this suddenly? Does anyone know whaat is causing it and is there a solution? ZOS, as usual, are no0t answering.

    PC 64 bit - lauincher. Just trying it with 64.exe direct

    Platform and server?

    If PC then it sounds like a failing hardware issue at your end, possibly related to over-heating.

    I wondered that but this computer has played this game for 4 months with nop problems. Core temperature averages 45C - why is uit suddenly 'overheating' now when max temp shown is 46C.

    What type of freezing are we discussing? Are you freezing up to a still frame with no movement or is everything freezing around you and you still have mobility and such?

    *EDIT*

    Is this a hard crash to desktop or does this kick you out to the login page?

    Frame freeze - nothing moves then the ESO has crashed submission notice.

    Sorry - when the game freezes it comes up with a white nitice that simply says the ESO has crashed and what where you doing - no ticket or enquiry number is given.

    I can't even get to the help screens to report failure cos it won't let me.

    As Tandor had mentioned it could be a hardware issue. Hopefully ZOS_DaryaK can point you in the right direction.

    *EDIT*

    If you would like something to test out in the meantime you could launch Msconfig and use selective startup. Load up the basic services and applications you may need (Networking, Graphics and Antivirus) and try running the game.

    Wait one - have disabled all addons and am trying it . so far have managed to remain on for 5 minutes. Trying one addon at a time. will report back

    ok - gamne crashed again wiht no addons loaded. Lasted about 20/25 minutes this time
