I can handle the lag, the imbalance and all the other things people complain about.

But when I loot a Butterfly and pull off it's wings but leave it's body. Why can I still see it flapping around with it's wings fully intact?

    I was in the housing editor earlier and I realised my character was moving around an enormous tree without directly touching it.

    Come on ZOS, is my character telekinetic? Don't be ridiculous. Sometimes I find this game hard to believe. ;)
    #1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.

    In the Poetic Edda poem The Lay Of Thrym Thor actually wears a wedding dress to trick the Jotunn king Thrmyr into returning Mjolnir, Loki also wears a dress to play the part of the Bridesmaid.

    The better question is why are you leaving the insect parts in the butterfly node. Are you one of those degenerates that loot a node and leave things like worms or ta for the next person to find.

    However, trying to use my imagination here, if I wasn't a plus subscriber and did not have the endless bag ... and maybe I'm not fishing on this particular character I'm playing or the inventory space would run low, which does not sound very likely ... but still, if ... yes I might uncheck the "loot all always" option and perhaps be more selective and leve the guts myself.

    Unless I'm on an argonian, because that's like an M&M to me right there.

    Serious though, would they not de- and re-spawn?

    It just takes longer for them to de-spawn. It is just faster for all to loot everything. Especially if the person leaving things behind is running a loop it makes way more sense for them to loot everything and periodically delete unwanted items.

    It is just better for all if everyone loots everything.

    Sure it is, just saying I understand there might be reasons besides just being malicious or thoughtless.

    Good to know that they indeed re-spawn though, wasn't sure. I mostly encounter this with treasure chests. They should come after you "The Luggage" style and eat you if you leave something (Discworld).

    Now back to wingless butterflies sowing chaos and confusion!

    Good grief... i thought i was just unlucky with butterfly wings.

    No really, they ought make it so it's either all-or-nothing loot, or (even better) de-spawn whatever node it is that isn't fully looted after a minute.

    I agree - take everything or nothing at all please. The same applies to chests, plants, nodes, etc.

    I harvested a mountain flower the other day and there was no flower to collect - only crawlers.
    Australian on PS4 NA server.

    It has been said before, amny, many times - all crafting resource thingies should despawn if you take one thing from them. So people don't leave wingless butterflies around, or columbine with only worms inside, or... well, you get the idea, wight?

    And personally I would have much preferred it if the ingredient hadnd't been "butterfly wings" but something you have to kill one of the annoying little critters that so like to magically draw your attacks for. Snake teeth perhaps.
