Sword and Board weapon, does it matter?

When using S&B, does it matter what weapon I use? Like does a sword deal more damage? Does a dagger give me more crit? Does a mace give me more armor impen?

    Weapon choice is only effected by Twin Blade and Blunt passive in the dual wield skill tree.

    This is something that I wish ZoS would fix.

    I asked, a long time ago, that they get rid of the "battlefield mobility" passive of 1HS and change it to something similar to the DW/2H passives.

    For instance: if you use a mace while using a shield- you would have 5% physical/spell penetration to your heavy attacks. If you use a dagger while using a shield- you would get 2.5% extra weapon/spell crit. If you use a sword when you use a shield- you would get 2.5% extra weapon/spell damage. If you use an axe when you use a shield- it would increase your DoT by 2.5%.

    ...Just sayin'.

    The more complex variant - to do smth like destro passives that will modify all 1h&sh weapon option including shield use. I mean passives will alter not only on weapon type but also on shield use - so you can use 1H without shield getting some offencive bonus (i.g. chance of disarm for sword or block ignore for axes) loosing some defencive (block cost and dmg reduction)

    I personally don't want to lose the battlefield mobility passive. I would prefer a buff to the second passive in the skill line (Sword and Board). I would also suggest a more unique approach than simply reusing the same buffs from the 2h and DW skill lines. Maybe add debuffs to the passive like maces cause 2% increased damage taken, daggers cause 5% decreased movement speed, axes cause 2% decreased damage done, swords cause 2% decreased healing.
