What other races even are there to add? Maomer? It wouldn't really fit if we could play as Dremora or Dwemer, since one of them cares not for the petty trifles of mortals (and is sort of a persistent enemy that we constantly fight) and the other is extinct. Similar story with the Falmer..

The Imga. A race of ape men. As far as I'm aware they wouldn't be lore breaking at all. They're not extinct, and seem to have the same capabilities as the other main races, except they've never been utilized in-game before. Only talked about. They would Probably be the most likely candidates.

Ah, but do you mean "new races" or "existing races with all the lore about them that are just not currently available for player characters"? ;)

Because there are still a lot of races around that we can see as NPCs, but not play ourselves; from sea elves to reachmen to gobbos... and even more we hear about, and know from the lore... but also cannot play as at this time.

Same as it was with Imperials and orcs once upon a time. Then they choose to change that. So now... who knows? They may choose to add more races to the crown store, or they may choose not to. But it is in ZOS hands, and since they could get extra profit for little extra effort, well...

...I would expect them to add some already in the game races at some time (Maormer, Reachmen & Goblins come to mind), see how the sales go, and if they sell well, they might put in more effort and take a look at the less likely candidates I mentioned in the prior post.

They, more than likely, will never add new races. It wouldn't fit in with the lore. The only race I see as a possibility for a future TES game is the Moamer, but, besides them, we will have to wait for an Akavir-based game. This probably wouldn't come out until an elder scrolls game in every province of Tamriel is made, and even then it is still doubtful.
    With cold regards,
    Mythic

    Favorite Characters:
Kilith Telvayn, Dunmer Telvanni Sorcerer (main)
    Kilith, Dunmer Magblade (old main)
Vadusa Venim, Dunmer crafter (older main)
    Hir Hlaalu, Dunmer Warden
    Søren Icehelm, N'wah Warden
    Fargoth of Morrowind, Bosmer commoner

...You mean like this one? :p We have all nine provinces in ESO. :p

    Honestly...

I would rather they make less classes, and more skill lines.

The fact that 12 skill lines are locked behind class annoys me.

My character, who is one of the top members of the mages guild, a master wizard who has defeated Daedric Princes, cannot use fire magic and summoning magic! Is using restoration magic and electricity simply too tough for me?

The ES games have always been about building the character you want, In ESO the only limiter to this is the class system. The reason we fall into situations where 90% of healers are templars is because of this class system, when truly we should see all sorts of healers with all sorts of weapons and armor because the only need for a healer should be to have restoration magic skills.

    That's just my opinion.

They could also add more kinds of khajiit and argonians. There are multiple kinds of both of those races that look differently, it doesn't make sense that we can only play one kind of them. Not sure if they would count as new races or be sub-races though.

I think they should just drop classes entirely and make all skill lines available to all characters but put a limit on how many lines you can have active at a time to control for power creep.

7 skill lines seems about right to me, plus racials. It would be more restrictive than it is now as far as number of passives but enough for build diversity.

They could just put a limit on passives too if that was better, but I think that would be harder to bablance than doing it by line.

Then they'd just need to create new skill lines rather than whole new classes.

No, it's because your character has standards. They won't consort with daedra, because that's for baser mages, and they don't use fire because it's too vulgar for their sensibilities. They're probably very disappointed with you right now, by the way.

ESO should of NEVER of have had classes to begin with. All the constant balancing the Devs have had to waste time on could have been EASILY been resolved by making ALL skills universal and simply MAKE the character you want to play.

Each class shows it was built for a specific role in this game and that was wrong. More skills to choose from would have made everybody much happier than now. Adding more skills to the game would be MUCH easier to balance as EVERYBODY has access to them.

Classes makes adding new skills next to impossible. Templar is the best healer....adding more universal healing skills doenst change that as Templar still has the most options to start with. So you add the wrong ability balanced wrong and tip that favor even further making DK healer simply unwelcomed and undesired.

ESO occurs before the other TES games, or at least most of them. Probably more difficult to add races that are not in the earlier games that occur at a later date.
