Difference being is snipers are there to kill and kill only, not rob you. That is probably the biggest gripe, not being killed getting robbed.
Opening a can of worms usually isn't allowed here on the forums, because threads like these get derailed rather quickly and ToS violations are rampant.
Expect this thread to be closed down in the very near future.
That said, I hate gankers because the victim doesn't get a chance to fight back. Whatever happened to honor? A good, honorable fight involves two gladiators facing one another and fighting to the death out in the open. Stealthing is just a coward's way of winning a fight.

Rob you? You can't rob anyone in ESO.
If you mean telvar, then that's a game mechanic.

It was possible to create a really high damage gank build but you actually had to sacrifice a lot for it. It was kill or be killed. Thanks to a variety of factors now, there is very little risk in ganking and most Nightblades lack the testicular fortitude to stay around and try to finish you if they can't insta-gib you with one hit.
I think that's what people really dislike about gankers. Some of my characters are pretty tanky, Some gankblade tries to gank me, fails, I turn on him and attack, get him to low health, then he runs away and cloaks while I'm still in combat for the next 2 minutes.
Props to the ones that stay and fight but the ones who fail and run away are pretty annoying.
