So my character just reached level 50 and I've gotten 20 champion points already but I feel a bit overwhelmed. So I have these cp points but I have no idea what to put them in. Everything seems SO useful. But you don't wana spread your points out to much I hear because then your only getting small bonuses from everything. Also, another thing is when should I start using my cp points ( lol I know I'm all over the place) would it be better if I used them when I have more rather then just a few that way I can plan in out easier? Idk tell me your thoughts.

It depends on what your build is and what you want to enhance. Simply put use your Champion Points as you earn them. If you are unsure where to put them I suggest looking at several online build guides for help. Good luck!

You'll want to start stacking up on resistances, base damage, and resource regeneration first. You have very little CP, so you shouldn't worry too much about this yet. However, you can start early by asking yourself now... do I want to be a damage dealer, tank, or healer?

    For the blue area:

In general, if you are primarily magicka-based, you'll want to first invest in Elemental Expert in the Apprentice. If you're a stamina user, you'll go for Mighty in the RItual. You want to invest the most into one of these pools because they can help your damage a lot and help you face content easier. Later, you can graduate to the crit damage buffs and increased penetration.

    For the green area:

Start with Warlord if you're stamina-based or Magician if you're magicka-based (in the Tower)
. When you start having more CP to spend, you'll want to also invest in Mooncalf if you're stamina or Arcanist if magicka (in the Lover). You'll often want to invest more in those two Tower trees later on. You may also want to consider Tumbling / Shadow Ward in the Shadow.

    For the red area:

Split between Hardy and Elemental Defender in the Lady tree. Eventually, you'll also want some Thick-skinned in there, but it'll mostly be those two. Quick Recovery in the Lord and Resistant in the Steed (only for PvP though) can help you in later CP levels.

Once you reach somewhere around your level, you'll want to look into builds online. Once you've done the research, you can decide for yourself what role you want (if you know this already). However, for now, the ones I mentioned should help you decently until you get higher CP.

The easiest way is to put all your blue points into damage (either physical or magical), all your green points into cost reduction and/or regen (either magicka or stamina), and all your red points into reducing physical and spell damage done to you (split).

Good thing is you can always change them later but in general, more damage, more regen and more defense is the most basic way to do it.

Lets assume you had 21 crapeon points so the numbers work out.

    Magicka Build:
Blue: The Apprentice - 7 points into Elemental Expert
Green: The Tower - 7 points into Magician or The lover 7 Points into Arcanist (or split)
Red: The Lady - Split between Elemental defender, Hardy and Thick skinned.

    Stamina Build
Blue: The Ritual - 7 Points into Mighty
Green: The Tower - 7 Points into Warlord or the Lover 7 points into Mooncalf (or split)
Red: The Lady - Split between Elemental defender, Hardy and Thick skinned.

Note that there is no right answer and you can get really technical on this but for now, you might as well hit harder, regen faster (or cast at reduced cost) and take less damage.
