They wont, because this is mutch harder and less profitable then crown store mounts or costumes.

It wouldn't really fit if we could play as Dremora or Dwemer, since one of them cares not for the petty trifles of mortals (and is sort of a persistent enemy that we constantly fight) and the other is extinct. Similar story with the Falmer.
I would definitely be a fan of new classes, though. On a side note, has anyone else played Grim Dawn? It's a game that lets you pick two classes and mix together skills from both of them to create your build. That game is the epitome of build diversity. But that idea sort of wouldn't work at all in ESO, because each and every one of Grim Dawn's classes is fundamentally flawed and can't really stand on its own (hence why you can pick two).

I have played since the first betas myself and I would really like to see some new classes to be included in the game. Nothing wrong at the current classes, but it's getting a little bit boring to play over and over again with the same skills and abilities. I hope that ZOS will at least look into this in the near future, maybe even this year. It's really great that new content comes out quite often(new dungeons, sets etc.), but this is something that players would probably appreciate. What do you think about this?
I'd much rather see more combat related skill lines added that any class can use.
Example: necromancer should not be a class
Instead necromancy should be a skill line that any of the four could use.
You could do the same with conjuring, illusion magic, shape shifting, a one hand and spell line, swordmaster, lance/spear, etc

As much as I'd like to see new classes, it scares me. Every mom that releases a new class make it super overpowered and put it behind a pay wall. I think as of now they should focus on balancing the current classes and bless us with some 3v3 and 5v5 arenas.

Some of alternate Khajiit breeds, like the Ohmes or Ohmes-Raht come to mind. But, that's about all I've got on the subject.

They could do a DLC and bring Dwarfs to the game. Though that would be behind a paywall.

Ah, but how many crown stores have been in the elder scrolls in that time where they can not merely add races, but -sell- races for extra profit???starkerealm wrote: »I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for new races. Maormer. Goblins. Reachmen. Those would be easy, since they are already in the game, with crafting styles and all, so little effort needed.EldritchPenguin wrote: »What other races even are there to add? Maomer?
Atmoran refugees became Nords.old_mufasa wrote: »Well they could add a new race but it would mean introducing the other continents of Nirn into the game.. or maybe refugees from another continent.. as we are only playing on the content of Tamriel
There is a lot more land out there to create other races on....

What I have seen since I first stepped into this forum, people are never happy with the class balancing. There will always be someone who is not happy or thinks that the game is unfair. Every change that ZOS makes, will make someone not "happy" about it. By creating for example new classes or abilities, ZOS would courage people to try different playstyles and combinations, and return to the content they have already played. New arenas would be cool, but how long they would be cool. One month away, it could be that players have completed them many times and got bored to them.
