Wanted to share this guide that I made that contains almost all of the housing achievements, cost and what they look like. Not perfect nor does it contain everything, but took a crap toon of time so hopefully it helps you decide what to works towards for your OP houses!

The ones like Emperor or even Tamriel Skyshard Hunter are too difficult to have their items as BoP

Heres what Im curious about. If items are tied to achievements. Does that mean I have to get on that particular character to place that achievement item? Or is it unlocked like Dyes, pets and Costumes/Polys?

That particular character must purchase the item and place it in your house. I suppose you could put it in your personal bank, but furniture items with achievement requirements are bind on purchase.

Do you know if you can buy these in crown store?

Selling achievement rewards in the Crown Store would be a terrible business model. That would remove the incentive for (many) people to play the game in order to get those achievements (and have fancy decorations in their house as a result).
Semi retired from the trading aspects of the game.

It is already there via owning certain houses. Not really a big deal since none are combat related and all are just money spent.

Don't mean to be argumentative or detour the thread, but the fact that you will be able to purchase housing in the crown store instead of only using in game gold would already be removing any incentive to play the game (to earn the gold)?

I can see people simply buying a house and whatever they can put in it from the crown store, to forever prance around in it, attacking their test dummy, showing it off to their friends, never to be seen again in the wilds of Tamriel >:)

That's not what I meant......I assumed you can't buy the decoration from the crown store unless you already have the achievement......for me I don't want to use my gold. If they are selling these for like 20 crowns or 10 crowns ONLY if you have the achievement unlocked first.

This shouldn't be an issue however because all houses are account-wide. So you could buy a house on one character, then buy achievement rewards on another character and put them into that house.

How is this not a big deal? Not everything should be combat related and just because something is not combat-related it doesn't mean that no players compete there.

So this probably might be a dumb question, but if you've unlocked the achievement you still have to use gold to purchase it after words? Is this how all the furniture is; us having to use gold to purchase every piece, especially after crafting them, or just for the "rares"? :)

For the items that come from the achievement vendors, having the achievement is a prerequisite for purchase, and then you still have to pay the gold price to buy the item. Crafted items only require the crafting (once you have the plan to make the item).

Agreed; but to some extent they are already doing this by allowing us to bypass achievement requirements in place for purchasing the largest houses if you buy them with Crowns.
