They're pointless unless you're standing around stylin. The items you wear post CP160 cant be styled nor can you craft them so if you want to be *stylin* you have to do it when you're not doing anything.

Yes this is another *Make dropped items styleable* thread. And Im not farming any more motifs and Im not BUYING WITH REAL MONEY any more motifs until we can do one or the other.

    I'm quite a bit over the cap and I wear crafted gear on many of my toons. I even got my first clear in vMA in crafted gear. Some of the crafted sets are even considered BiS.

    Edit: I do agree with the option to restyle dropped gear.

    ^*^. Some wear a bit of crafted gear. However, this thread could have continued the very same topic in a thread that was created yesterday or the day before. They tend to die out fast. Sry.

    I would be OK with a restyle of sets ... but the bigger issue is the underperforming crafted sets need to be brought up to par with their better crafted and dropped counterparts.

    Thanks for that. I appreciate you not saying Im beating a dead horse. And I agree with you. When your toon needs something, you get it that something. Would be nice to make it look different than everyone else's. Especially different from the opposition factions in Cyrodil.

    So who wants to make this exact thread, again, tomorrow?

    We can't have enough of them, right? I'll start penciling in names and will get the schedule ready.

    @THEDKEXPERIENCE

    For the last time in 2 days... not many people will be convinced in buying or farming motifs for just a 0.1 percent increase in master writs.... you keep saying this like finally motifs are useful again..... they are not... they are just secondary gear you give to your alts cause you dont care about farming viper, Ilambris... etc

    I agree that many people won't, but it doesn't make them pointless or worthless. They now have a point other than crafted sets. If you don't want to participate in the new master writs then cool, don't.

    They certainly have a point now for me and many others.

    @Giles.floydub17_ESO

    You know what i like most about the motifs threads?? they die quickly... but generate a ton of comments and still NOBODY... not even one person has said transmorg is a bad idea...
    And you got to admit that motif sales will increase if you implement transmorg..

    The last thread about motifs ive created got me 3 forum badges

    What do you do for Tbs and nmg then? Some of us like a shiny new set now and then. What really killed off motifs was 1T in a way. Who crafts torugs swords now? Sword motifs were always desirable. We need jewelery crafting too, it's make wearing crafted helms and shoulders more viable as you can wear 2x5 crafted sets then.

    In terms of buying up *** tons of them for the sake of master writs it'll be a massive pointless waste. Unless you've got millions to spare you may as well buy the writ the rewards you want. It'll be cheaper or the same cost without the rng. Not to mention actually finding what you need.

    And even though TBS is the best crafted gear.... it STILL doesnt outshine gear like Viper.... especially for PvP

    While I don't have millions I have spent 700k on motifs this week and have probably 75% of them. Honestly, at this point I don't have much else to spend gold on because I don't really care about getting a mansion on patch day.
