the addition of which one of the following on a stam. sorc. would make the most increase to dps, 129 weap damage, 967 max stamina, or 1935 physical penetration?

    It depends where you're starting from... :/

    A good DPS needs to find the right balance between weapon damage, physical penetration and critical chance.

    interesting question though...but right off the weap dmg will be higher than the stam just due to the maths, but lets say this was tested (solo) on the skeleton dummy...3 mil HP and 18K res...would dmg outweigh pen then?

    The pen is a 3 percent damage increase against targets with more than 1935 resistance. So you have to look at your skills and see if you get a greater than 4 percent damage increase with weapon damage. It has to be 4 percent because provided the target has more than 2k resistance, 3% armor reduction through pen is greater than 3% damage increase through weapon damage.

    @J2JMC I had to read what you said like 8 times, lol. I'll be more specific with my initial question. Monster helms, I'm thinking of 3 in particular, Kra'gh, stormfist, or Veli. I'm looking at the 1 pc. differences to try to help me decide. Alot of ppl say stormfist is better than Kra'gh, but, will the extra pen of the Kra'gh make up the diff. in damage that the stormfist puts out, if that makes any since. I don't really care much for Veli, seems it has a high chance to miss target, although the Veli has the weap dam increase on the 1 piece.

    Assuming everything else is equal, over the course of 8 seconds I believe Kragh will deal slightly more damage IF it procs on cooldown. Otherwise stormfist deals more damage when it procs as even 2 kra'gh procs don't do the same damage as one stormfist proc. In my opinion, it is more important to worry about how many people/mobs you are fighting and if you are concerned with burst or sustained dps as opposed to what the 1 piece of a set is. Kra'gh seems to be good against stationary single targets in extended fights if you can get it to proc on cool down. Stormproof and velidreth look superior if you want a burst of damage against multiple targets.

    Honestly I think velidreth is the best option in terms of all around gameplay. Will be good in regular dungeons, trials, vma and obviously pvp. Kra'gh looks like it's good in bossfights but mediocre in trashpacks and pvp. Stormproof seems good for trashpacks, but it doesn't get damage out quick enough for vma use in my opinion and looks to be easily dodged in pvp. CP is also another factor that hinders stormfist as the initial 3 seconds of damage does not benefit from your character's points into Mighty or any physical penetration your character has. Also worth noting that the part of stormfist that does benefit from your might CP and your physical penetration is easily avoidable.
