Who uses werewolf anymore?

I have 2 WWs. It's fun to go to the shrine in Reapers March on a busy night and duel other werewolves as there's no reset timer on the transformation at the shrine.

My guild has something called "Werewolf Wensdays". When on every wensday they forum a group of all werewolf characters and fight in PvP with them. Though I don't know excatly how they fight or if it's in the Imperial City or in Cyrodiil. I'm at work when they host the group.

So to anwser you question. Yes, people still play werewolfs.

With Dawnbreaker being meta and vampire for stam builds for some reason. I wonder if anyone still use it in PVP or PvE? I use it in PVP. PvE is mostly in open world while I mess around in.

I've noticed quite a few WW with those odd little foxes that accompany them in Cyrodiil recently. The main utility seems to be that seeing them surprises the crap out of people.

to @susmitds What do you mean by "many people backbar it for the regen." like, if you put 1 skill in your 2nd bar you get the passives 15% stam regen ? don't you need to be in werewolf shape?

To get the 15% Stam Regen, all you need is the Ultimate slotted.

Does the ultimate need to be on your active bar to get the stamina regen buff? Or just slotted in either bar regardless if it's on the active bar?

    Active bar.
Wish it was active like before. It was nice to have it. But guess that players complain if u ain't a werewolf then ur regen sucks even though most players use food and getting what? 20 or so more regen which just depends on how much stam recovery u have.

There is a good reason for not having the regen bonus just for being a WW. Back then you were always a WW if you weren't a vampire simply because free 15% regen without any drawbacks was something most people wouldn't miss out on. No matter how small of an increase that is.

I believe plenty of people still use werewolf! And recently the numbers have vastly increased, due to the increased number of people asking for bites and the price of the bite going up greatly... (Our guild has been working extra hard to combat this)

With the right setup, werewolf can be amazing in both PvP and PvE. I have a friend who is able to complete vMA all completely in werewolf form without losing the transformation, and achieving a high score.

And also just this Saturday we had an event where 24 werewolves all came together and took on every world boss in Craglorn :)

That won't happen because vamp is basically a the magicka one and ww the stam one.

But what if they got stam morphs for vampires.... stampires...

Anyway a hallmark of ESO (at least in concept) seems to have been that you can have magicka, stamina, takes on any class or skill line. So revamping (ha) vampires or werewolves to have more creative takes could be worthwhile and would make it more significant to play one, and less predictable to confront them in the field.

This. I can see Claws of Life as a magicka morph. Plus there are two other howl/roar skills that don't necessarily have to be stamina based when morphed, and a magicka-based Feral Pounce makes plenty of sense too.

Meanwhile vampires have only two active skills (not counting ultimate) and still have access to their other movesets, which can be stamina based, while they get stamina regen in addition to magicka regen bonuses at certain levels of vampirism. No vampire is forced to use magicka to attack. They have no vampire stamina actives, but can still be stampires. I'm all for new optional stamina abilities for vampires anyway. Poison claws, anyone?

That said, there's no questioning the might of stamwolves, but there would certainly be more opportunities for fun werewolf gameplay with a rebalance.

It is a good time, bout 10 wolves all perma form, jumping in causing chaos. Sometimes we die, sometimes we kill, all the time "were" having fun!

Werewolf is fun, after they turn they just seem to slap the hell out of whatever is in front of them. It's just fun to run around in werewolf form. I wasn't really that keen on the idea of werewolfs, preferring vampires, but got turned for free and it's awesome.

The more the merrier when it comes to wolves, it can be a lot of fun even, we mostly like to cut of travel routes for high traffic routes. Until they come with torches, oddly torches look a lot like destro ultimates these days...

Though it is hard to focus the werewolf, when there is an entire pack at your flank.

Really big issue which happens often, you activate WW and it immediately goes away. This bug is a huge reason not to play WW.

That said, WW is probably the most fun thing to play in this game. I need WW pvp people to run with, I've never ever fought alongside other WW's.

That's happened a bunch to me lately, I thought I might just be accidently fumbling my fingers (ps4 controller = L1 + R1) and transforming myself back...

whatever the cause - highly frustrating to waste an ultimate on just watching yourself transform...

There must be a few people using WW. Using group finder over the past few weeks I have had tanks and healers change into werewolves in the middle of dungeon fights!

I never realized there were taunts or healing abilities on the werewolf skill bar.

I can tell vamp is more popular. I see vamp bites sold for 8 -20k and ww sold between free and 3k

That being said, I see a good mix of both throughout Tamriel
