Skill points respec

How about making a new skill points respec system? If I need to delete a 2-3 skills I must respec all my skill points (even crafting) amd rellocating it again. Why we cant do this just like champion points? Just pay gold, delete only skill points you no need anymore and save. It shoul be 3rd option with all points and morphs only respec.
Also, how about scaling price for respec scaling by number of skill and CP relocated, not a full price even if you need to relocate 1-2 points only.

2 choices. Repec everything or only morphs which is double the choices we had oritat half the price.

Been playing for he game since release. Have 3 characters see will 300 SP and a few more with about 150 each. Haven't seen respecting as a big deal cost wise.

But if you need to change 2 skills you need to also reset 298 others. Cost or not it's pretty stupid.

It is not about the gold, but this is very hard to use. Not because of it isn't understandable, but a very high risk of mistakes. The frustration is the problem becuse of the mistakes. Especially if you want only a morf change.

champion, respec: + - confirm. It would be good with skill points too.

I don't think OP is saying it's the cost that's the problem. It's a needlessly tedious and cumbersome mechanic. If you only want to change one or two skill points, you still have to painstakingly put absolutely every other skill point exactly where it belongs, and if you mess up, you have to completely start over.

The Devs have stated they want to offer Single Skill Line Respecs. But the last I have seen any posts about it from them is more than a year ago.

I would love for skill respec to work the same way as champion point respecs.

Anymore I don't mind the cost associated with a full respec but the having to rebuild my skill bars when all I needed was a couple changes is a pain in the rear.

So your suggesting a fixed price for rewording. 300 skill points is 15k even if just removing skill points from a few skills. 7.5k is just changing a morph?

That would work. Would keep pricing as devs has set it but make it less work for us.

I'd prefer some form of a template, that you can click and it charges you and auto delegates and saves the skill points and/or CP.

I'm well past the CP cap and the characters I play most have between 270-320 CP. So reallocating those is always a clickfest :D

This needs to happen. Single skill respec should have been in from the beginning, especially when you consider how much the skills in this game change on a regular basis

He is not asking for single skill respect cost wise. Just work wise. The full cost would still be required regardless of how much changes.

I didn't mention cost, but now you've said it; it definitely needs revisiting. Ideally, if you only change 1 skill point, it should cost you 100 gold. If you change 300 skill points it should cost you 30,000 gold.

Having to pay the full amount to change 1 skill is absurd and if this is introduced it further demonstrates that ZOS would prefer players to purchase things (respec scroll) from the Crown store instead of using in game gold

I do a respec on my main about once a month to accommodate for updates and progression type stuff, like needing 4 points into a crafting research passive for instance.

Did one yesterday for about 13k. I think it's fair to say I've dropped 300 to 400k in gold just on respecs over the last 1.5 years.

Hopefully now that I'm an all 9s crafter I can keep this to once a quarter.

Your pricing is wrong from the start. Pricing for respec of 300 SP is 15k. We are able to respec morphs only for much lesss since it's only the morph that's refunded and passives, etc are not affected.

Second, if they ever added individual SP the price should be higher per point. More like 500 to 1k per point. Many would welcome that.

1/2 price respec for ESO+ would also work. Nice perk.

Oh really? They told us ESO+ is just an abonemets for DLC - just second way to get them (first one is buy it), just to ocmpensate DLC's creation, but now Its gonna be essential stuff because of resourses bag because they chocking us by adding new and new resourses every patch. So it feels like playing f2p game - not b2p. Also "subscription"'s price was greatly increased after TESO payment model was changed.
But they continuing to add new and new bonuses to ESO+, why the hell? I got Emp edition preordered, but playing like f2p noob now.
With your logic they must cut out all players without ESO+

As about discussion's theme, my first message was about comfortable skill respec with no need to relocate ALL skillpoints, price is pretty good right now, but FAIR price depend of relocated skill point's number will be good too, but its an optional.

My pricing wasn't wrong, it's what I suggested as a change. I needs to be changed because new players who want to explore their class's capabilities can't do that without paying the full price.

Before you say you can just change morphs, consider the switch from Magicka to Stamina... That's a LOT of unmorphed skill points with light armour > medium armour, mages guild > fighters guild etc...
