Should I be worried by the fact this gold farmer knew my PSN and knew I played ESO to send me a ingame mail?

I've never replied to any ingame gold farmer spamming zone. It has me a bit worried they targeted me for ingame spam mail .

    Well he can see you in area chat. Those are real people standing around. I dueled one for fun and he actually accepted lol

    If you're concerned about it there's always the PS4 block player option for you. Should prevent any further contact.

    Well I just assumed my data was compromised, didn't think they would actually take the time to write down everyone's PSN they see in zone chat for they can send spam lol.

    If it makes you feel better, on PC, a lot of that stuff seemed to be automated. The worst was when they started sticking stuff... I think it was green upgrade mats, in their ads so you couldn't delete them without taking the item first.

    This is a normal thing gold sellers do. They'll use any and all methods of communication to contact people to increase the number of people they can reach (remember they're working against the clock because it's only a matter of time before they're caught and banned).

    On PC you can simply target someone and then one of the options that comes up is to send them a mail, so they don't have to have any information on your account. I assume it's the same on PS4.

    There should be an option somewhere to report the mail (because gold selling is against the rules), and then the seller can be banned.

    Wow lol never had that... last time i got a goldseller mail was at launch when the bot invasion was real. Since then they cleaned tjem up hardly see bots anymore.

    I got these to few times (PS4 EU) i didn't give it much thought just deleted the message.
    This is many months ago by now and i'm still safe and so is my account, so i wouldn't worry too much.

    I received a couple of those in my in-game email, but I just delete those. Not sure about PSN messages as I don't use it or have it on. I don't know, maybe if I do turn it on, there may be a couple of those spams also lingering on there. Whatever those oko-something games.com crap that is always being spammed on zone text chats.
