Bloodthorn set impair functionality

Bloodthorn set have impair functionality with some of Templars skills:
Tooltip claim it proc on direct damage(Blue flash visual). So testing it:
1. It does proc on single target range/melee attacks and skills, like Javelin:
2. It does proc on AoE skills like Solar Barrage or Sun Shield:
3. It does proc on onitial hit of range skills that have DoT in it, like Sun Fire:
Given those results it mean that direct damage means:
a. Any single target damage no matter if it range or melee that is not counted as DoT.
b. It can proc on AoE no matter if it melee or range.
Several templar skills however doesn't work this way:
1. On pts initial hit of Backlash doesn't proc set:
2. Radiant Destruction that counted as both DoT and direct attack doesn't proc it even on initial tick:
3. Puncturing Sweeps that counted as both DoT and direct attack doesn't proc it even on initial tick (like Bahraha):
4. Spear Shards doesn't proc it on initial tick, despite being AoE:
Given that set doesn't work like with half of Templar PvP skills because of its impair functionality making set worthless. It needs fix.

✭✭✭✭I use it on my sap tank. It works with funnel health, sap, light and heavy melee attacks and even bashing. It doesn't work with veil of blades, refreshing path or shades. So it seems to work fairly correct on a NB.
Think it's just the coding for templar skills are screwed. Aurora javelin isn't a dot, yet procs skoria. I'm assuming it it procs burning light, that is counted as a dot?Edited by Brrrofski on January 9, 2017 11:15AM0 -

Ye, some sets that work with skills bugs only coz wrong coding, so I showed where in templar arsenal coding of Bloodthorn is going wrong, hopefully make it to be fixed. It is probably one of the best sets for Azura templars, but coz those bugs this stop being viable option. For example for DKs it also works fine.Edited by Cinbri on January 9, 2017 11:38AM0
