With Dawnbreaker being meta and vampire for stam builds for some reason. I wonder if anyone still use it in PVP or PvE? I use it in PVP. PvE is mostly in open world while I mess around in.

Usually only stamNBs use vampire. Other classes tend to go Werewolf. Many people backbar it for the regen.

to @susmitds What do you mean by "many people backbar it for the regen." like, if you put 1 skill in your 2nd bar you get the passives 15% stam regen ? don't you need to be in werewolf shape?

To get the 15% Stam Regen, all you need is the Ultimate slotted.

Does the ultimate need to be on your active bar to get the stamina regen buff? Or just slotted in either bar regardless if it's on the active bar?

Wish it was active like before. It was nice to have it. But guess that players complain if u ain't a werewolf then ur regen sucks even though most players use food and getting what? 20 or so more regen which just depends on how much stam recovery u have.

My main is a werewolf, but right now it's mostly for backstory reasons; she's a werewolf of the Reach. She's currently a magicka sorcerer, which doesn't go well with werewolf skills. The exception is that one howl that heals you, which is incredible when you're focused in magicka. But if werewolves got a rebalance and some magicka morphs for their attacks I would definitely dump some points back into the skill.

That won't happen because vamp is basically a the magicka one and ww the stam one.

    Who uses werewolf anymore?
    Whoever wants to?

More then enough use it for the fun of it, not for any effectiveness.

Personally I would love to see both vampire and werewolf to become more then "just another skill/passives line", and get more meat to their being what they are! Like... vampires being weak during the day and powerful during the night, werewolves reacting to the moons, vampires having trouble with running water, werewolves having control issues, vampires being able to accept voluntary donations from players, werewolves scaring away hostile aninals (what wolf would dare bite a werewolf?), vampires being able to preferve blood through alchemy for later, werewolves getting a game-monthly "hunt prey in furry form" quest they need to fulfill in time or suffer a debuff, and both being shunned by the townsfolk and hunted by the guard if they let people see the moster they are supposed to hide...
    But I guess that's a different discussion. ;)

four werewolves, two vamps...ww is a blast in pve (really effective in a lot of cases)...pvp wise you need to be selective, paints a big target on your back...the fear and howl work nice, plus the poison claw...everyone and their brother starts trying to root/snare you...

Being both Vamp or WW is now far too easy.

Not enough of a penalty to either. Almost everyone uses one or the other.

Looking at the game from an ecological, and / or a Lore point of view Tamriel would be totally unable to support the numbers of Vamps and WW we see in-game currently.

Taking into account the benefits and penalties of being a Vamp or WW the overall "pay off" should not be significantly higher than being neither. Situationally the benefit sould be significant, but so should the situational penalty.

Much harsher penalties need to be applied to both Vamp and WW to make them viable only for very niche builds. This will bring numbers of Vamp and WW down to Lore appropriate and ecologically sustainable levels.

Vampirism is used in PvP a lot. Almost every tanky templar/dk mistforms to prove that. NB use vampirism to sneak at full speed, and I guess 10% increased stamina/magicka regen are great for most players. Tradeoff is that you completely screwed the looks of your character and any skill that damages undead more will affect you big time.

WW users are not that common in PvP as I would expect. There are some serious players - Warbow, Pam for example on EP side, and they do use WW transformation frequently. On the other hand, I feel like WW does not offer much benefit to those who use it compared to Vampirism. I think WW need a slight buff, mostly in duration department.

I have several WW chars, also a few Vampires. I think only my main crafter is still human lol

I would love to use it more in PVP, but it does not help my build at all, I need an ultimate that can have a faster turn around. Werewolf takes too long to generate for my character to be useful. So I either use DawnBreaker or Dragon Leap.

Come to think of it..does anyone know a good build that would work for a werewolf? I would love to use it some more, and with the up coming changes my DK is going to need to have her race changed ect. So anyone know any builds especially for werewolves? :)

Last I checked, the regen buff was attached to the ultimate, now. So you get the regen up while you have Werewolf slotted. Granted, backbaring it doesn't make a lot of sense, but what does these days?
