I am a huge data nerd. I love looking at numbers. I remember a long time ago Zos created an info graph about the game (when it was in beta) and I would love to see more stuff like it. I used to play GTA and Rockstar created a pretty awesome infographic about what we, the players, had done in the game throughout the year. I know we have The ESO Database but I would love to see more. Is this a far fetched dream or would this be something ZoS could do? One is from ESO and the other is from GTA (Hoping the mods won't delete my post because of it)

Below is the one from zos and I'll just link the GTA one without the image because both images are big.

Some things I would love to see

What alliances has the most characters
Total time spent on the game across all platforms
What alliances has crowned the most emperors (not the same ones)
Longest time spent in a dungeon
Amount of people that are 9 traits across the board
The amount of people that are pure pve or pure pvp
Most ran dungeon
Least ran dungeon
most popular race
most popular class

So many other things! I need all the data.

    If ZOS released an API for data like this and limited it to subscribers I would probably resubscribe and never play the actual game.

    @andreasranasen, the website I linked in my first posts has a lot of data but it's only for pc and I think user submitted data.

    Sorry but you're not likely to ever get it. The sad fact is that the game didn't perform very well financially and MMO developers tend not to release figures which highlight that. Unless they're a publicly registered company and ZO isn't.

    Ever noticed how Firor always says the game has over 7 million players, based on having sold 7 million copies. Though we all know many of those will be storage alts. They've never revealed subscriber numbers.

    And 7 million isn't terribly big. Not compared to 23 for Skyrim. It's also quite poor compared to the 5 million who registered for beta.

    It's really sad because some elements of the game are brilliant. Story, voice acting, visuals, combat. But at launch (less so now) inventory management was diabolical and there were other annoying things like that. Unlike their 3 big single-player hits, ESO has classes. At launch ESO also lacked many popular features from the single player games. The worst of those was the alliance / race restrictions (unless you pre-ordered or happened to know that you could buy the pre-order key from some third party sites) and needing to pay extra to play an Imperial.

    On top of their own mistakes they were up against GW2 who undercut the rest of the industry with their buy to play model.
