Will we ever see a VDSA/VMA with better loot tables in the future, or with a token system of some kind implemented to help out people with their weapon hunting?
It's been quite a long time since these 2 arenas have been released, and I still hear horror stories of how people have ever obtained the specific weapon they were after. I still hear about how some people still have never seen certain types of weapons in the final chest awaiting them (e.g. Bows, inferno staffs, etc.). Even though they've completed the content hundreds of times. Why is this still a thing? Why are there people who've not been rewarded for their perseverance and persistence?
As a developer, how do you sit back and take something like that so passively and relaxed? And yet, you were a bit uneasy about pushing housing forward, that you can't store items in? You still went with it. You were uneasy about pushing gamble crates forward, even though your community has continuously asked that you didn't? Dissed you for it constantly. And you still did it. Lolwut? PvE'ers been catching hell with VMA and VDSA weapon hunting, and it doesn't make you uneasy in the slightest. Won't even consider a fix at all.
Let's look at some of the solutions people have put forward. Implement a token system. Implement a key system, and have there be a chest of each weapon type laid out. Allowing the player to pick which chest they want for which weapon they want (e.g. Bow chest, dagger chest, etc.). Allow the trading of weapons between those who've beaten the content (can somewhat be done to a degree via DSA, but not outside of the instance). Allow us to sell the weapons in guild traders. And so on. There have been numerous solutions to the problem laid out, and yet... None have been considered...? What? Even though it's amongst the hardest content in the game (although a cake walk nowadays for those who've beaten it previously and constantly)?
...Meanwhile in Cyrodiil. . . AP bags galore, all types of specialized vendors to get specific sets, tel var systems this and that, "the golden" who sells undaunted stuff and PvE stuff in a PvP setting (smh), and so on. But, the tons of threads complaining about PvE'ers experience with RNG means nada to you. But let the PvP crowd get rowdy, and the PvP streamers start huffing and puffing. Then it's, "OMG! The sky is falling! Let's throw PvP'ers another bone, and look out for their gear needs every update we get a chance to." Riiiiight.
