Which player house are you eyeing?

If you aren't on the pts you can't go into the player houses yet, but explorers will note that most of the player houses have rickety boards over their gates that allow first person peeking at the properties. So has anyone run out to the houses, and does anyone have "dibs" on a specific home? (A list is in the natch potes, linked at the top of the forums right now).

My pick from the outside is Hundings Hall in Stros M'kai. Wow that's an amazing home. 360 degree ocean views, and the obscure wayshrines of the starter islands keep pit the riff raff, lol. My friend says Mathiisen...much prettier, but...hum...high elves. You'd have a lot of mixers with really good wine, but if I have to hear one more forty minute conversation from an Altmer about his staff that isn't ironic double entendres...sigh.

But for the budget-conscious, the places in Baandari are really cool. Probably a lot of mosquitos. But if they get out of control, just invite a pact dragon knight over for a while and the smell will kill them all off.

The coolest mansion seems to be Ebonheart. Wow...the designers went all out there. It even has a public lava pool hot tub. No really, go take a dip in the flow coming down off the property. It's been temperature controlled perfectly so that you can relax and destress with no damage. You can't see much of the dagger fall mansion, but it looks massive. The Aldmeri mansion might be the most overpriced place in the game...sorry, my fellow khajit, but of the mansions this place looked pretty mediocre. Maybe it has a bowling alley inside or something, but from the outside it doesn't look worth $4 mil.

The houses look pretty cool. Not sure my khajit is going to give up sleeping next to the dumpster behind the inn in Rawl'kha, though. You wouldn't think French Onion Soup would be good after it's thrown out, but turns out 2 day dumpster soup is amazeballs.

About the only house I can see that is not a rip off is the small altmer house. Even though it is an exact duplicate of already existing houses it probably is the best value for the money. The other Dominion houses are just ugly.

A nice mid-range estate in Heidel City (Black Desert Online). Unless there's some significant changes to vMA itemization. Then I don't know.

I can only afford the small houses, and even then I can only afford one of them. So to me, I really like the Twin Arches in Bangkorai, and the Cyrodiilic Jungle House in Malabal Tor. So basically quaint homes with a front yard.

It's alright, my Khajiit always rest up in the back alley behind Semiral's Stable. :p

I'm still shopping around, but my must-haves include:

    1. Overpriced.
    2. Subterranean.
    3. Damp.
    4. Smelly.
    5. Skeevers. Lots and lots of skeevers.

Hopefully something along these lines will come on the market soon.

Snugpod, I am a wood elf. why wouldn't I want to live in the heart of valenwood and the Dominion. Also its affordable.

I considered Marburk because that is my favourite AD town and a hell of a lot quieter but the house is outside the city so eh. maybe.

All of them but plan on starting small and making them cosy and fun for each character first before moving up. I might just go for one big one though, not sure which is more economical or logical really. I really like all of them.

I'm going to get the Ebonheart manor house, Hunding's Palace, Ravenhurst, and the medium one in Windhelm. It's going to cost me about 5.6 million gold.

One that actually has storage because the first thing I do when i get home is take my keys out of my pocket and put them in my house.

Houses are designed to store stuff. These houses won't feel like home until I can empty my pockets of about 20 monster helms.

Either the small orc home in stormhaven or twin arches in bangkorai.
Tight budget plus I'd like to have a nice small place to really customize with the item limit rather than a very large space where areas feel empty.

Hundings Palace, for my small guild.

Genuinely my favorite of all the houses. I'm thankful it's so cheap.

Those ocean front views seal the deal.

Kinda hoping they'd offer some "city apartments". One of the neat things about Skyrim was you could have a flop (or manse), in every (almost) major City. Nobody is ever using Guard Towers.. ;)
    8 Hamster-Growth Hormone Injected Rodents (2x4)
1 8088 Motherboard with 8 "TurboWheel Hamster Wheels with Ceramic Ball bearing Races" (2x4)
    2 RCA-Victor Tube-Fed Power Supplies Removed from 1922 Victrolas
80' x 120' Outbuilding containing 16GB RAM pieced together from various 1960's Space Programs
144 Video Chips from Atari 2600's hardwired together, placed in Beer Fridge Freezer and cabled to Computing Device
Keyboard from Nokia 6100 (for indestrucibleness)
1986 Pioneer 52" Rear Projection Tv (Monitor)

Well, there's six of them, at least... Vulkhel Guard, Skywatch, Ebonheart, Mournhold, Daggerfall, and Sentinel all have either an inn room or an apartment. The trick is you'd have to have two alts do the housing quest in the other alliances to get all six.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

I have been playing with the houses on the PTS and I have found that I don't really like the larger houses. I can see the larger houses being guild housing but most of the houses are just too big for my taste. I love the fact that you can use chairs now.

I wanted the Daggerfall castle, but it's way to expensive (unless the Crown Price will be alright ;) )

However, Mournoth Keep in Bangkorai looks fantastic, and it would suit my Illusionist really well. Unless there's another house with hidden rooms and such, I'm prob gonna settle there

I wanted the medium khajiit house at first, but then I saw the videos someone made and now I will now probably get the small altmer, the small nord (for my orc, because it almost looks like the houses in Betnikh) and maybe another one later. Although I love the khajiit towns and houses, I think they are more like a place where I'd like to go on vacation, not live/decorate.

I might upgrade the altmer house to medium one day, but I love the little garden, it's just big enough for me I think. I prefer small and cozy over big and empty, and it will take me a while to decorate them, I guess.

I really wanted the medium-bosmer house, but after seeing the previews, I think I will stick with the small one. RIght in Elden Root, and the size is enough for me.

I will also buy the medium-altmer house since it's the prettiest I can afford
