Hi!

So i really like 2H sword and wanna play Warrior, but i like the templars melee magic abilitys, Can i go speccing magic with 2H??

Or Would that be stupid to have 50/0/0 in magic and Then use the Class abilitys

Because i Think the normal 2H sword abilitys are a bit borring..

I am not sure if you know this or not, but some Templar abilities can be morphed into stamina based skills. A list of Templar abilities can be found here, although I can't say for sure that this list is up to date. (I haven't played my Templar in almost a year.)

As for mixing magicka based skills with stamina based ones, it's really not a good idea. Your damage will be weak with both. The reason for this (on a basic level) is that the damage an ability does is based on how much you have of the resource it costs to use. So if you put all of your points into magicka, your stamina based 2H attacks will be very weak. If you try to split points into both stam and magicka, BOTH types of skills will be weak.

Also, stamina based skills are made more powerful from weapon damage and weapon critical. Magicka based ones use spell damage and spell critical. Just like above, if you go all in to one form, the other will be weak. If you split between the two, all of your abilities will be weak.

From what I have heard, 2H is not really good for PVE. That doesn't mean you can't use it, it just won't be as good as other weapon types. If you are dead set on 2H, I would go all in to stamina. Max out your stamina pool, and use gear sets and enchants that will boost your weapon damage and weapon crit. (EDIT: You will want to enchant armor with +stam, and weapons/jewelry with weapon damage - crit will come from sets.) When you can morph your Templar abilities, pick the stamina morphs and use those.

I am going to be honest with you here so far I have yet to find anything that feels like a fun magic and 2h style that is viable, there are stamina builds but with dk your limited to like 2 morph skills that turn into poison instead of fire which to me is not fun, the stamplar would be a nice option but I hear they its looking bleak on test server with the nerfs although it may change, and stamsorc is all based around increasing your weapon damage, not many magical attacks.

I do not know much about nightblades I am looking into them myself looking for this playstyle.

Since stamplars have jabs and do not have class brutality buff 2h is good choice for one of bars
