Yea sure they will raise champion points every quarter but every 6 months expect them to nerf everything to the ground. Enjoy!

✭✭I was hoping the balance pass would improve skills, fix some creep and improve armor sets to really make a difference... but overall I an incredibly whelmed by the changes. I just have no real feeling on them good OR bad.2 -

In particularly one guy, who worked hard to make a frost sorc a thing, despite poor sets and little popularity. Now his little 17k health light armor dps sorc is suppose to be a tank?...3 -
My wife and I have stopped our subs too, I haven't been in the game for a month. I was hoping U13 would bring us back but I am tired of all the nerfs etc.3

Things get nerfed. Things get buffed. Things get updated and things get outdated.
If you've really spent a ton of time grinding sets, dip into your bank and find a new one. Or ... better yet ... stop chasing the metas and "must have" builds because they always get cut off at the knees.

Im done with this game. After subing since console launch I've finally had it. I'll invest my time and money somewhere I don't feel it's being wasted. I may check back to see if they can finally seperate pve and pvp. So as not to wreck my pve for the sake of all the toxic pvp cryhards. (While not even fixing their problem lol)3 -

I do not see a problem with new frost staff changes, hardly anyone is currently using frost staff which is currently dead and ppl will gonna use it more..

Yes things usually get nerfed and buffed. But from the look of it the nerfs far outweigh the buffs. That is the real problem. And most of the things that actually needed a nerf didn't get one or didn't get changed enough. Cutting ultimate in half? Really?
As you can see I am mostly upset with the ultimate nerf as sorcs really have nothing going for them now unless you want to attempt using pets.1 -

The point is, they're lazy. This update shows how much they lack in listening and following through. They attempt "cure alls" instead of breaking things down and adjusting with tweaks.1 -

✭It does not matter. We'll still be able to complete all content in the game, and PvP will always be the same, more or less, with it's flavours of the month, that come and go, and classes and are perceived to be the strongest, and they'll come and go. The good players adapt and move on, understanding this, others don't.
It's been that way and always will be. But it doesn't matter that much. Nothing's going to become impossible. Character 'boosts' and 'nerfs' at the end of the day are all about being able to complete the content. Players have just lost sight of that.
Contrary to what some think, the developers are not halfwits. It's easy to criticize from the outside looking it, it always is. But things are always far more complicated that they appear.
The most important thing in the game; is the balance of challenge. Characters that are far too strong for content to the point where it becomes completely boring to the masses playing is a sure way to ruin a game's player-base. Similarly so at the other end of the spectrum.
It's difficult, extremely difficult at times, but it would be nice to see more here on the forums looking at the bigger picture and not getting caught up in the unjustified words of the provocateurs. Their self-interest does largely does not help.If you can be anything, be kind.0 -

✭If we had soft caps and hard caps the power creep would just be a creep and not all that noticeable, but the way zos has done things they are in a balance quagmire they cannot dig out of, unless they return to soft and hard caps again, this dev teams inexperience really shows on things like this.1 -

A passive will active the "tank mode" on frost staff. Don't invest in it and you won't have a single problem.0 -
jaye63✭✭✭✭Here we go again... Tell you what, when you get more than 5% of the game population on to the forums and have an actual sample of what the WHOLE community thinks, then we'll talk. I really dont care about power creep. What I care about is a challenge.
Case in point. In DDO, I played a Barbarian when no one else did. Why? Because it never got powered up, it never got better gear, it was as it was when the game started. And it was a challenge to keep it relevant to the group. And I did. I would lead raids. You want easy button, play what everyone else plays. You want a challenge.... make it yourself. Make a Khajiit Sorc, make a Bredon Night Blade... Find something no one plays and make it work. Everyone is so obsessed with having the easy button character that they dont do anything challenging and then complain to the devs that it's not a challenge and that there's power creep.
I own every ES game. I have played every possibility of race/class. I have beaten the game with every one of them. At some point, YOU are responsible for your fun. If you aren't having fun, maybe you need a challenge.1
