My Guess: no DLCs in 2017 but an Expansion "Vvardenfell" /discuss

You're right that's not the way how it works but it somehow colludes with the max level of your character. 50 is max level for your character and for your skill lines. That's why I said they easily could increase both by 10 in the first expansion. It wouldn't change anything besides you get more stats and can level up your skills more. There is like no disadvantage in doing so, leveling from 50-60 would be done solely by completing Vvardenfell quest line(s).

They will need to add a skill or two per class per tree to even make it worth while. But ZOS has had no luck balancing their design so I doubt that will happen. Plus Zos has been half butting the content for 2 years now .

I know what you mean, that's why I said we will see one additional active and passive ability per skill line on our way to level 60.

Sure Zenimax hasn't done a good job when it comes to balancing but the "usual" skills are already pretty boring. When they add nothing new the overall playstyle will be the same for too much time (like it is now).

So, some players data mined even more stuff about Vvardenfell (I will copy the reddit to here and link the source):

There's a ton of new tilesets. Hlaalu, Redoran (including Under-Skar!), Telvanni, Vivec and Molag Mar, Dunmer strongholds, Velothi (I can see Holamayan, but that might be it), and Morrowind style Dwemer ruins.

That covers pretty much every architectural style in Morrowind, except for Imperial towns and castles, which don't exist since Morrowind isn't an Imperial colony yet. Oddly, Seyda Neen does exist, and is using custom assets that make it look exactly like it does in TES3. I'm sure that's going to be a fun nostalgia trip.

The whole area around Red Mountain appears inaccessible, though the northern ashlands around Urshilaku are, along with Molag Amur. Sheogorad looks to be heavily under construction, but that giant wall of rocks makes me think it may be inaccessible as well.

There's a Redoran town around Andrasreth that didn't exist in Morrowind. There's also a Hlaalu town and a Redoran(?) village near where Caldera will be. Weirdly, Rethan Manor seems to exist, despite the fact that it was built during Morrowind.
The Telvanni towers all have big mushroom caps like the one in Dragonborn. Interested to see how that turns out.
Vivec's foreign quarter appears not to exist yet, which I think is a neat touch. There also seems to be a port/outskirts around the future site of Ebonheart, which is awesome and makes it look more like an actual city.

Finally, a size comparison between Vvardenfell, Wrothgar, and Stonefalls. It's definitely going to be the biggest PvE zone in the game so far, even without Red Mountain being accessible.

DLC likely since I think itll be the size of Wrothgar. Not as big as you expect or think. Arena? Don't think its happening either, and new weapons? Ya gotta be kidding me? Noooo. Neither Oblivion nor Skyrim brought spears, totems, scythes, and whatever else ya wanna add there, why add on ESO? The closest thing youll get to a scythe is an axe in soul shriven style.

And if your information is correct, then I would say it wont release till 2018, or maybe at the very late months of 2017, due to its sheer size
