Who would like to play in a string of single day campaigns? Much like 7 days and 30 days you can flip the map become emp and at the end of the 24 hour period emp gets taken away map restarts and who ever is in top 10 get great pvp rewards. You could do champ and non champ campains. It's a battle of the server. It's my bet that such a campaign would be the most popular pvp server played. Where every day you have the chance to become the emp. At the end of the day it's a rush to the finish! Can you claim emp? Make this thing real zos and let's see.

    Yes, great idea. It should also reset completely everytime and allow emperors only after 48h and require at least 300k AP..

    It wouldn't make much difference to me - I would only ever get a chance of getting Empress if they made 2h campaigns xD

    But still, I like the idea.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    How is someone suppose to get emp if they have to wait 48 hours on what would be a 24 hour campaign?

    I'd say yes. But the map would need to be a lot smaller. 2h in Cyrodiil already feels like 20 minutes because of the constant traveling between keeps. So a smaller map and I would love this. Guild Wars 2 has 3h campaigns which totally worked.

    No because there are still other campains for you to join. This would be a perfect campain for pugs to migrate to. Perfect for super concentrated guilds to mobilize and try to take control. I wouldn't put a timer on the emp. If you get emp one day and next day you get in first again then your emp again. If not oh well better luck tomorrow. And if you don't like it you only have to wait till tomorrow to change camps

    No. It would just be an emperor swap campaign. Smaller campaigns always ended up this way.

    Having a campain like this would make emp less political. Sure people would swap emp but better to have that in one map than all of them

    No, I'd rather see only long term campaigns with more attractive goals than what we have now and small battlegrounds for short term pvp fun.
    The only purpose such a 1 day campaign would have, is to allow all those players to become emp, who think having this achivement will make them a better player and to prevent zos from adding some actual improvements to pvp.

    Since the main reason against this sort of campaign involves the constant flipping of emperor, what if the 1 day campaign had emperorship turned off? Players would be encouraged to fight for the map instead of emperor. It could have a unique play style that you don't see in the longer campaigns.

    Personally I'd like to see a weekend only campaign. 8PM Eastern Friday to 8PM Eastern Sunday. I might actually get Emp if they did this.

    That would be cool. Would give more reason to pvp for those that don't wanna sit on the game for a week straight just to try and keep up so they get a decent reward.
