What is the best class/build to do pledges solo?

I should qualify what I meant as best as being either the quickest, easiest(lowest chance of death), or at the lowest level.

once i got grothdarr, destro ult sweeps i could solo any normal dungeon and get keys myself. i normally did group finder just so it would go a little faster but for the most part i was doing all the dps. EDIT: on my templar

Soling with magsorc pet builds is fun.

Like that guy said, magsorc pet build is probably best option.

I use a stam sorc build with clanfear. The clanfear tanks for you and is a great self heal.

    Magsorc, Stamsorc vMA type builds.
I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.

    Some additional info:

I have soloed on a dbl pet build magsorc pledges for some time.

Sets have varied - i have tried several.
No VMSA or trial gear - just overland, pledge/dungeon, crafted and at times a few bought pvp vendor golden seller guy.

Not trying to be BiS just what works for me:

    Current:
    Nerieneth Helm+Shoulders (hvy)
Necropotence 3jewels+2arm (so 5pc always active)
Clever Alchemist (3pc arm with sharp lightning on attack bar and DW on back bar so 5pc only on back bar)
    Atts mostly health

Attack bar: Daedric tomb, enf ward, volatile fam, twi mat, elem drain, Elem rage
Back bar: pow surge, dark conv, VF, TM, mages wrath, overload
Overload bar: mages wrath, enf ward, VF TM Inner light

    basic plan is to:
start serious fights with back bar surge+potion
swap to main and weave-rotate-repeat thru Drain, mines, ward, VF, TM dropping rage when possible.
When boss at 20% get ward fresh, drain fresh and swap to back bar for surge, potion and spam mages wrath.

had similar builds with that worked fine with:
    kena 1pc, 5 necropotence, 5 medusa (destro-2h)
    kena 1pc, 5 necropotence, 5 elegant (destro-2h)

Preferring the clever alch right now cuz of being able to get traits for weapons more easily since they are all crafted.

have also done this with powered weapons which boost the heals from twilight, surge, potions, dark deal etc.

In all cases the plan is the same and the priority is stay alive and keep pets alive so watch your ward and keep Tm heals in every other rotations ate least. The VF AOE burst and stun is good IMO for crowds and draws lots of attention.

Obviously blue foods for mag/health or even witchmother.
potions have been good spell crits, spell power or even lingering health depending on your needs.

Not gonna hit BiS DPS for trials with this but will do fine for pledges in soloable dungeons.

    SIDE:
have also run some dungeons solo with magplars and the key was the staby-staby-heal spam, though not as many as the magsroc pet build.

You can solo pledges with any class. The only thing stopping you is specific mechanics that require multiple party members, like Ruzozuzalpamaz in CoH (when she cocoons and can't break free, but have to have someone synergize).

Where did you read that I asked for a class/build that can solo a trial? I asked which is the best at it, I even qualified that best as being quickest, lowest cp level, or least chance of dieing.

How about I raise you one:

Soloing is possible on any spec. Of course, sorc pets (as many suggested) are super effective. I use a stamplar for my solo runs, and can pull anywhere from 15-25k DPS on a toon with 2h and 22k health, alone.

OP, if you want to solo, start with magicka sorc. Once you got the hang of it, move to the more complex. 2H is phenomenal for soloing stam builds, as brawler and rally provide large boosts to survivability and really tack on the hurt.

raise? how is it a raise? there no difference, both those dungeons have mechanics that predicate solo running impassible. fights in which you would be stunned and ultimates even if you had 100k resource, 20k power would not kill alone.

I’ve recently been trying out all my 10 characters at solo dungeon runs using the builds I developed to tackle the new overland bosses.

The fastest and most reliable at soloing dungeons has so far been my Dunmer vamp magDK. This may be because the character allows me to keep to my preferred fighting style – a very focussed, in-your-face, dook it out with the boss toe-to-toe style. I found this character can be made sufficiently tanky without it reducing damage output or resource control too badly. The health returns from Burning Embers and Deep Breath make him especially resilient. Magicka resource control is comparatively easy using destro staff, so he almost never runs out of gas even during the longest fight. Strangely, this character seems to be more challenged when running around trying to mop up the archers and spell flingers from big trash groups than he does when fighting the 3 star dungeon bosses.

I tried a mag sorc pet build but found combat to be just too messy and disorganised. Too much focus on pet management and on finding a safe place to stand, and not enough on damage dealing. Too much time running away when your clanfear dies. And I hate the flapping wings of the twilight, and the way it goes AWOL in restricted spaces. Just too annoying to be fun IMO.

The only build I still want to try, and haven’t got at the moment, is an extreme-high-health blazing shield Magplar. That might be slower than my magDK, but I suspect it may get me further towards soloing vet dungeons instead of just the normal ones I’m doing at present.

I'm CP561, so can't help regarding lower levels.

Well, I mean, if you had watched it, you'd have seen that someone did solo that "Impassible" dungeon. As for how it's a raise, are you seriously trying to tell me CoS is on the same level as Fungal?

i soloed veteran maelstrom on my magicka sorc!

But srsly, fungal grotto is a good dungeon to solo cuz it's tough but doable. I wanna try that sometime.

I imagine stam sorcs could get through anything as well fwiw
