Does anyone know what the buffs to mDK will be in Update 13?

EnglishNorwegian
Cause I'd love to be able to choose from stam or magic because magicka Dragonknights are definitely underperforming so my only choice is stamina but even then it is easy to be outperformed in PvP by other classes *coughs*Templars.*coughs* But on a more serious note stamknights can only use like one, two, maybe three dragonknight abilities (excluding ults) while the rest of the skills are either duel wield, bow, two-hander, sword and board, and other auxiliary skill lines in PvP. I'd be happy if Dragon blood was buffed and the AoEs had better damage and/or better DoTs. Also a executioner would be lovely for PvP because for DPS mDK AP gains are little harder to come by because you aren't laying down the killing blow against most enemies in larger scale PvP fights making it so you only get 100-600 AP when that enemy dies instead of around 1k for killing an enemy. It'd be nice if these things were fixed/implemented.

Yes, they've said they will buff Dragon blood to make it more usefull, also that DK will not get an execute and that will be based in dots to put more preasure. They've said they will balance mDK but then they specified better and said also that they will change and balance magicka and stamina. So let's see how true is gonna be that.

TBH, I've maimed Mag DK since console launch, and in the past I've called for slight buffs, but threads like this make me sort of want us to not get buffed at all, because then we'll be the new FOTM and it will lose it's sort of unique feeling. And I can tell from recent threads and in-game chat, everyone is rolling a Mag DK. Looks like I'm gonna have to roll a Stamplar to stay "anti-FOTM" :p

mDK don't underperforming, they just don't have cheese synergy.

Mag dks are really strong as they are. No idea why people screamed for buffs anyway. The only thing I wanted buffed is dragon blood, but the rest is strong as it is.

I'd like some sort of passive cost decrease or something because most mag dk skills are very expensive

    Current CP : 756+

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

The issue with MagDK is sustain, particularly in non-CP PVP, as it just doesn't have a good burst self heal without a resto staff. I have to say, though, my MagDK is enormous fun to play - I'm not overly worried about being the best or most powerful player in the world, just having fun (you know.....it's a game).

Same opinion here at least for PvE. Maybe they want to bring in line that you actually play a mDK as melee. I play all four classes as a magicka build and I think the mDK is the last which might need any help.

Yep, if anything, the magicka nightblade would need a little buff up to be on par again, but let's see how the patch notes are tomorrow. You can play mag dk as both melee and range, and I like to be able to use whatever the raid group needs more.

Actually sorcs with 0 batswarm costs and vampires were the fotm (#pryda hype) lol + no aoe caps
Dks were just really easy to get into but nbs became around 1.3/ 1.4 really strong with the sap tank never running out pf ressources and being able to use bats every 5s (tho with bloodspawn) or stacking multiple veils
(There just was no youtuber publishing videos with such a build huehuehue)
