Imperial for tanking pve. But I prefer Redguard (because of their looks)
I would love to play a Ranger, but I was surprised there is none when I started the game in 2014!

Thus I also go with Ebonheart pact automatically, though even despite the dunmer connection it is my favorite alliance, because it is the one alliance among the three born of a purely defensive purpose. I too love the Dark Elf. But not the commoners, it's those haughty mages that were my favorite. The telvani are such aHoles, makes me laugh.
