platform Xbox - server EU (i do not know if this is effecting other platforms/servers)
Whenever i try to travel to alik'r on any character (i have 12) i am placed in an infinate load screen
i have to quit the game, come back in try again (repeat until it works)
i have tried traveling to every wayshrine in alikr - and it happens with all of them so it is not the wayshrine close to the new life event that is the problem it is the map
as i said i have 12 characters i have no problem traveling to from any other map - just Alikr
I did submit a ticket because i had a character trapped there when event started. while i did receive an intial response i have not received any reply to the ongoing problems i am receiving on ALL of my characters

    You would think it would be Eastmarch.

    I know Alikir has a busy dolmen rotation as the Wayshrines are most convenient to the Dolmens, but a few other zones have that too. Every zone in the game has a New Life event taking place, or most every zone does, so not sure why Alikir would be singled out like this.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Me either! LOL eastmarch by comparison is lag free!

    it takes me longer to get to Alik'r than it does for me to do all the new life quests! (including slightly extended loading screens)
    when you attempt to travel there the game music stops, and the little load circle (serpents/dragons eating their tails) stops rotating
    i have the patience to log in & out to get there - but judjing by area chat its frustrating a lot of people to the point of quitting

    ps. i am encouraging other so submit a bug report - no idea if they are though :)

    i have just discovered that alikr is the 'dueling hub' on my sever - which could explain the loading issues.

    I have this issue also, can't get into Alik'r at all despite log outs and re-tries :(

    My mag sorc was sat there before the event now can't even log into it , other toons when I try to travel either crash or sit there on long loading screens

    I have 4 characters i am unable to access :(

    these characters have now been moved by support for which i am greatful
