Yes, Trial Group Finder would be very useful, as it's hard to gather enaugh people.
Considering the mess you get yourself into using group finder for a dungeon you really think you're gonna get paired up with 11 other people who can pull their *** together? Come on now lets be real lol

    @BlazingDynamo

Well it doesn't have to be the activity finder tool. It could literally be something as simple as a sign up board that refreshes.

The UI may look like the Guild roster.

Ppl just want something better than text chat.
Xbox live has a tool that's basically a list and it can be set up 7 days out for ppl to join or sign-up and this allows ppl to see cp and date/time as well as encounter with limitations or specifics.

I think it's just the concept of improvement

No, there is no need for such feature as there are lots of groups in chat looking for members.
I really have not had any trouble finding trials groups and feel like trying to automate the process would cheapen the experience. There is some amount of pride in planning and building your own group like a well oiled machine to conquer the most difficult content in the game.

I don't really have an opinion, but if it can help expanding the trials community to give incentive to ZOS for more trials, it would be great.

Join a guild dedicated to trials.

You can still pug a trial with random guild members everyday; if that is what people actually want to do.
    pug trials.
I use to Pug normal Trials It wasn't hard and made a lot of friends doing it.
Once I got into Vet trials that was a no go. pugging them took 2-3 hours sometimes 4 hours depending on the trial.
I started a trial guild, and now I run almost every trial in 40m - 1 hour.

best to just join a guild; rather than Pugging end game content.

A system like they implemented in FFXIV A Realm Reborn would be awesome to see in ESO. You create a team and set specific roles and requirements for people. If they don't meet those requirements they can't join that slot in your group.

I'm all for including as much content as possible into the dungeon finder. It's a pain in the ass to try and put groups together(especially large groups) through zone chat.

That's why so many people don't bother with trials.

If joining the riding guild is best option, why there are still so many players looking for trial groups in chat. Lots of them are already in PvE guild and still has no enaugh people to gather and run a trial, cuz many guild even casual, setting riding days, specific hours, which are not always able to reach by that players. This is another reason why such tool would be good idea, for those players who are not able to play with their guilds on this specific raid days, etc.

Even though the zone chat works for finding a group, I still think the game needs a tool to queue for trials. I would say only normal trials, not vet.

I voted a big fat yes but with the caveat that it should be for normal mode only. This way players who are entering end game content have a reliable way to play this content but also practice & meet new people interested in the same content. This benefits the hardcore veteran players too because it has the possibility of generating a larger pool of experienced players to do Veteran trials with.

Based on PUG kick complaints I see now, I could just imagine the number of complaints from people getting kicked from trial groups.

I have only ever done normal trials and they still require some co-ordination and communication. At least if people find a trial group through area chat (text or voice) you know they can at least communicate and understand each other.

No, because zenimax can't even make a 4 man finder work, let alone 12 man.

How about we first get the thing working properly for 4 people BEFORE we try 12? Lol they keep breaking the damn thing every update, this last one was the worst I've seen. Personally i'd like them to revert the changes made to group finder in Homestead. It was finally working somewhat fine before that!

It's definitely not hard to form a group in area chat. Also you'll have low/inexperienced players joining trial group finder who really aren't ready for that content. Just like now with dungeons.

At least for "normal" - with a requirement to have at least 160 CP in order to be able to queue.
That way people could at least try this content... (because now this game content mostly reserved for guilds).

I would love that idea. I have not done much in the way of trials yet, but the idea that there is not a way other than the chat seems like an oversight.

I'd like it just for the ability to find the last couple of players. Unless it's a scheduled guild run, we are usually short 1-4 DPS... Having a group finder tool would be a nice quick way to finish searching.

Non-scheduled runs seem to always follow the same formula: ~6 people join in the first minute, another 2-4 join in the next 2 minutes. Then everyone spams their other guilds/zones (looking for randoms), crown gets passed back and forth and 10 minutes later we are finally full and starting.

The only potential problem would be if someone needed to be kicked; would a random person get crown and be able to kick anyone, or would it require a majority vote? IMO, what would be ideal is if you had to be in a group (even with 2 players) and then went to activity finder to "Fill remaining slots". This way the crown would remain. Non-grouped players would simply be added to the existing groups. The only downside is that you wouldn't be able to create a group with 12 randoms... but that might be a good thing.

Only for normal but it is not really that hard to gather the people for normal. I see in zone chat for calls looking for one or two people and we can be a member of 5 guilds.

For vet it would be a train wreck having GF make the group. Just a complete mess.

Its a great idea however we do need some options.

Cp range 0-600 so you can select 500-600

Also for option you can join a trial finder OR you can start trial finder

If you start a trial as a leader you will have what trial you are doing vet or normal and on the right hand side there is 12 column each with selection of Tank Healer DPS

You would need to go through each one of them and highlight which one you need
    So for example

(Tank Healer DPs) you select healer
(Tank Healer DPs) You Select Tank
(Tank Healer DPs) You Select DPS
(Tank Healer DPs) You Select DPS

and so on and then once when that is done you select find and it locks those in when people join they will go to the selected option

otherwise you would have all DPS and then kick them and try to find a tank ect ect this way it will work
"By many i am seen as hero...as a savior of the Tamriel i will not stop until every Daedra every evil there is in Tamriel is vanquish by my hands..
However i do this for my own purpose to gain trust of mortals to worship me and to eliminate my competition i will not bend my knee to lead your army to serve you Molag Bal , i will simply just take it from you.."--- Forsaken Sin( Magica Sorc)

    Arise From Darkness Forsaken SIn
"You have been a loyal High Elf Magica Sorc
Conjure of Darkness, Master of Magic
Killer of Molag Bal and Savior of Ebonheart Pact
    Until Dark Brotherhood killed you...
but now..NOW its time to Arise From Darkness once again..."

group finder will never work w/o a very involved amount of work on EOS part, but how about some sort of online ledger which would be listed by Trial where you would put your name on the ledger and skill (healer, tank, sorc) plus it would list you rank and CP etc. one ledger for normal and one for vet. than anyone that need to fill out a group to get there 12 people could invite from these lists. there should also be some way for the person being invited to know who's asking them along with their rank and CP etc

with a little fine tuning this could work out well, as most groups come up 4-5 people short and look around trying to find them

    any thoughts
