If you play in bigger, well coordinated groups, mNB is strong. For more solo, gank style play, sNB is the way to go.

Groups in non vet aren't that organized so definitely Stamblade

if sNB, you have several options. The most ortodox one is to use 2h and bow.
If you decide to go like that, you can use Velidreth or Selene as your 2pc proc set, Viper on body and 3pc agility jewelry. Agility is pretty cheap nowadays, if you don't have it already by any chance. Viper proc every 4 seconds on melee attacks, but also on bow if you use poison/desease enchantmens or regular poison on it.
On 2h bar I would advise you to have ambush, rally, cloak, mass hysteria and executioner, with incap as ulti. Be sure to use mass hysteria before landing incap or before bear hits, if you use Selene. Bow bar need shuffle, poison injection, possibly snipe for some active keep defending, radiant magelight and rest are flex spots, for skills like surprise attack. I would probably use there at least some FG skill, for more damage, and flawless dawnbreaker.

Skill rotation is pretty simple. Buff, use radiant magelight to get 20% more damage on next attack, use snipe or heavy bow attack with poison injection. Ambush, mass hysteria, incap. surprise attack if necessary, use executioner. If things dont go well ( attacking a 50k tank) just pop speed pot, cloak and run as hell. lol.

Not true. Some groups are not organized. Each faction has a couple groups that are very organized and shake up the map pretty good.

    Damn. Not sure.
Oh, well. If no monster helm, then you use crafted set instead. Hundings or clever alchemist. Also I guess you wont be using agility as jewelry. Yeah, go clever alchemist 5 piece and 5 piece spriggan. You can farm spriggan jewelry in Bangkorai on dolmens. Dont forget to pop potion just before attack. You will have 15 seconds of damage burst.

Edit. On lvl45 you get undaunted enclave invitation. You can use key to get shoulder piece. Go for middle chest, if you get Kena shoulder that would be great.

Levels 45-50 is an extremely narrow window to scoop up a viable monster set. Moreover, you earn pretty decent XP in the dungeons trying to get those sets ... causing your character to level through part of that window.

Best bet is to craft a couple of Stamblade sets. Some good sets were already mentioned above: Hunding's, Clever Alchemist, Eternal Hunt, Night Mother's Gaze, and Twice Born Star. If you have IC vault keys to spare, you could supplement those with some low level Agility jewelry.

I'd go medium armor ... infused on the chest piece and one other large piece. The other pieces can be divines. CP is disabled in BwB ... so you may want to use the Thief mundus to boost your crit chance. Otherwise, if your comfortable with your base crit, you could opt for the Shadow mundus.

What I will type out is that I profoundly disagree with some of the build options proposed and also that there are disorganized groups in BwB. I think folks that are saying that have not encountered a merry band of AD in wedding dresses recently.

Both magNB and stamNB are very viable solo or group choices. MagNB is more viable in nonvet than it is in vet right now for a few reasons, but especially because it is viable at such a low level. StamNB generally requires more grinding to get to a solid point of play.

    Ok.
    Let's see.
Since you are looking for under lvl50 campaign, I guess some armors and gear are out of your reach yet.
Not sure how much skills you have unlocked, too. Anyways, let me tell you what I would do.

About race. Pick a race that has benefits to stamina, and ganking.
Khajiit and Bosmer are ideal for this, simce they both have +10% damage done from stealth.
Khajiit have more health recovery and carnage passive that adds critical chance. In your case, it will be up to 5%
Bosmer have more stamina and stamina recovery, also receive less damage from falling and great poison and disease reduction, so I would pick Bosmer.

I guess Redguard and Orsimer are not that bad, too, even Imperial. But Bosmer is superior in ganks.

About weapons. As I said, ortodox version is 2h + bow.
Both weapons should be sharpened. Since you play non vet campaign, do use 2h maul since it will ignore some of the armor enemies wear. Bow should have disease or poison damage. Maul should have weapon damage enchantment.

About sets. Spriggan is overworld set that drops in Bangkorai. It gives you penetration, that is somewhat situational but maybe it works better in non veteran campaigns. Jewelry should be enchanted with weapon power, do it on at least 2 pieces.
wear also 2 pieces of armor you find. Since you are ganker, you can use 2 large armor pieces with infused trait, rest should be impenetrable. Other set to combine with this one - go for crafted set. Clever alchemist will give you some health, some damage and spell damage and also great damage boost when you drink a potion for 15 seconds. If you dislike that, use hundings rage. Alchemist is 7 traits craftable set, Hundings is 6 traits one.

Skills you would need to use.
On 2h weapon bar, you need to have gap closer. Ambush is great one.
You will need rally for some heals and major brutality buff that lasts pretty damn long.
Executioner is your execute skill on this bar. If you dislike it, use surprise attack.
A must have skill and best CC in NB's arsenal - Mass hysteria. remember to use it before using ultimate to be sure it hits enemy.
Shadowy disguise is a cloak skill that will guarantee your next attack in 3 seconds from activation will be critical hit. Also, your basic mean of escape.
Ultimate- incapacitating strike - major defile to enemy, next 6 seconds your attacks will deal 20% more damage to them.

    Bow bar.
Must have is poison injection. This is your bow execute and it is best bow skill.
Shuffle is medium armor skill that provides 20% evasion and it works against snares when you use it for a brief time.
Relentless focus is your 15 or so seconds 8% damage buff. Self explanatory.
Radiant magelight to give you might of the guild buff - 1st attack in next 5 seconds after activation will be 20% stronger.
Focused aim - minor breach. Not bad to use as entry skill. Since you will apply major breach with another skill from 2h bar.
Add to that all penetration you will get from spriggan and weapon, and any medium or light armor user will be completely debuffed.

Food. Use either 3 stat food you can find or food that gives you health and stamina.

I advise you to use mundus stone that provides stamina regeneration.

Rotation. Buf rally, relentless focus, use radiant magelight and then shadowy disguise. Snipe enemy and then use poison injection. Change bar, use ambush, mass hysteria and then incap. After this, finish enemy with executioner or surprise attack, whatever you have slotted. Use block to animation cancel to speed it up. Teabag enemy if you like, I leave that to your sexual preferences.

If by any chance this fails, do use shuffle and cloak. After that, use speed potion and gtfo asap. Something you attack ppl that are way too strong in health. Retreating is better than dying.

You will need stamina potions and magicka potions. Also, speed potions.

I guess that is it. Enjoy the game and good luck.

@Enslaved , the build you're proposing will be pretty difficult to achieve in nonvet, requires grinding all lorebooks, and would only be playable for a few levels - which, since you're presumably playing it solo would be very little time because of the large XP gains from solo kills.

Just a personal preference, but I'm not a fan of farming overland sets for non-vet PvP. It takes time to get these pieces in the right trait. I would rather craft gear of the desired traits and not waste 2-3 levels of a non-vet character ... where I could spend time in PvP instead.

I don't think impen is as much of an issue in non-vet PvP. Enemy players are still trying to level themselves ... and with CP disabled in BwB, crit is not as big of a deal as it is in vet PvP. Plus, a Stamblade ideally would like to gank. So, getting in and out of a ganking opportunity means little time for an enemy player to go on the offensive.
    Enslaved wrote: »

Great point, here. I guess I'm used to playing a Redguard Stamblade ... where stam regen is provided already in the racial passives. Something to consider ... though Bosmer and Khajiit are good choices.

So it doesnt matter where I have light armor or heavy armor?

    Tha
    2h/bow
    Sharpened maul/defending
    Decent poison/crusher enchantment

5 hundings 3 ashen grip or nights silence
    5 medium 2 heavy
5 impenetrable 2 infused, stamina enchants

3 jewelry (reduce cost, recovery, or weapon damage).

Serpent or warrior or thief Mundus
    Bistat drinks or food.

Alliance stamina or health potions are fine.

Ambush, fear, surprise attack, execute, rally (or grim focus) - incap strike
Poison injection, cloak, vigor, shuffle, siphoning attacks or mark target - soul tether

    that's vague.
What weapons do I need, traits and enchants? Do I want all heavy hundings and light ashen?
    What maul?
    What bow do I want?
