I am very excited that we are getting individual player housing
the ability to purchase individual chests the are not apart or links to the shared bank that each player can store crafting items, provisioning items, armor and weapons
to not have to pay anything to have a house or houses
would like crafting stations close by to use

a garden to grow alchemy mats
a large open space that my pets can all run/fly/slither around (expanding on the stables which is a great idea)
a way to display the heads of my victims!

My wishes for my home:

Being able to hang my own pictures like you can in ArcheAge
Having my own Bard
A little garden to grow Alchemie ingredience.
My own crafting stations
A stable for my mounts
An Armory to keep my Armor and Weapons on Display
A Trophy room for World Bosses or big Dungeon bosses
A way to access my bank from my home

With PTS right around the corner there is no real point in wish lists. Nothing said at this time will make it in, unless it was already being worked on.

That said...

I would like some female NPC's, with double entendre dialog, dressed for a bath house to be lounging around my castles.

Things I wanted for housing as of 2 weeks ago

- Craftable furniture with storage or interaction like sitting at tables or sleeping in beds.
- Interactive NPC's so my house doesn't feel empty... unless that's what I want it to feel like.
- Crafting stations for deconstruction. Ideally, they would have set bonuses, either new or existing ones.
- Mannequins and/or armory where I can not only store weapons and armor but store them in sets to swap into by interacting with my mannequin. One button armor swap would have been very exciting for me.
- Training dummies of various types. Sure a skeleton is nice, but I'd like to be able to purchase/craft different ones that are exact copies of iconic enemies. A Blood Spawn training dummy with similar defenses to the real one would be great. Extra special achievements could lead to other craftable target dummies like Rakkhat (for defeating him in MOL) or a vet version for those that have the vet completion.

I want a feature, like a closet or chest or something, that allows me access to the inventory of all my Alts. This logging in and out trying to figure out who has what or to give something from one alt to another that you may not even be on at the time, is just a waste of time logging in and out.

The options of having your characters reside in your house when you're not playing with them.
And they interact with the house: Eating, sleeping, playing the lute, performing rituals.
And not just one character per house, but 2 or 3 (depending on house size).

I'd like my Argonian to come home from adventuring, and be greeted by my Khajiit alt.

As lovely as all of these ideas sound, it's important to remember that it's a house, not a village. If we were to be as realistic as possible, and even compare it to real life housing, the average person (or npc) would not have their own bank, crafting facilities, giild stores, gym (training dummies) at their own house.

However.

Many people choose to live in a house that is a few blocks away from a major city/town centre with all of these facilities, just like npcs have their housing near a village.

I do feel that our housing should offer at least as much as a typical house would offer (taking into consideration the 'age' of ESO lore etc), and therefore we should have a basement or attic (depending on house style) for storage, and a veggie patch (alchemy plants) out the back!

It would not make sense to have a house that doesn't typically offer what the houses in the ESO world all offer already.

This is what drives crown store pricing.

If everyone says they want X feature with housing, X feature won't be free or acquirable with in-game money. It will only be available via the crown store and for a price which would make most of us faint.

PS I definitely don't want any storage with housing. ZO you've been super clever in designing housing without it.

I would love the idea of having my alts be roommates having 1 or 2 of them over to visit. Walk around, preform a random emote, use furniture, eat or read a book.

And for my pets and mounts to not just be placed but to be interactive. Moving around the house performing pet emotes.

I just want my house to feel lively like a real home. I know you can have friends over but I don't have many in game friends and I don't imagine they would have any fun just walking around my house for me to be entertained.

People wanting more storage:
I have 150 bank slots, and my main has about 115 inventory space. This means I still have to buy 175 slots to store stuff in. I currently have enough to store everything I need, from crafting materials to maps, and when I need set equipment for PvE and PvP, I can still buy more.

Bottom line: what do these guys fill their bank with? I think some people just have a hoarding problem, or haven't heard about inventory management.

How many playable alts you have? I have 5. Rest are mules with about 120 slots average. I mean, if you play just stamina builds or just magicka builds, I guess you are ok with limited stash space we have now. But if you play it all... Or you think I should melt my inpen and divines gear I accumulated over the thousands of hours? You never know what Zos will do next. Set you grinded for might become useless next patch, and something you gave your mule to wear just for lolz might become next big thing. "Balance" is a bi*ch, you need to be ready, lol.

I'm sure the plans for monetization are already in place based on professional marketing staff. No harm in dreaming in a forum thread. But yes, we should always assume we will have to pony up money for the features we really want so we won't be too disappointed later. Base game housing is a vehicle for cash shop sales. At this point I'm just hoping the features I want won't be locked behind gambling crates.

Part of the fun for me with housing in a game like Skyrim/Fallout 4 was building, and showing off my loot; not having storage, weapon racks, armor mannequins is going to be missed at launch

But even with just housing in other MMORPGs like SWToR, placing my loot and having it there on display was a big point; it reinforced a sense of accomplishment.
