I was watching a youtube guide and the guy was walking around and all the nodes (metal/flowers/water) were lit up kind of a silvery white. Is this an addon and if so, which one?

✭✭✭✭✭That sounds like keen eye, a passive skill in many of the crafting lines that makes them light up with a white shimering glow
There is also an addon for PC called Harvest Map that has these giant neon pins that can optionally be displayed above nodes you've found before.
