No, it's entirely possible to get everything on one character, it's just subject to RNG, and will take a couple runs, minimum.
In my experience, the recipe is the biggest issue. Gold items in general seem to have a 5% drop rate, but that puts each one at around 1%. Personally, the biggest problem has been the recipes. I've pulled four golds out of consecutive boxes (hoods and towels, mudballs and hoods, ect).0 -
