Hated Speech

The speech I hate most is that produced by children in video games. Thank you ZOS for not making use of this hated speech in your game.

(I'm waiting on dinner to get rolling and the interesting relatives aren't here yet, please help)

Hate Speech? No, but it is the most annoying skill line to advance in Skyrim. I'm just kinda glad they condensed it from Oblivion where it was Speech AND Barter. And you couldn't advance the former without making a fool of yourself.

Wait, what were we talking about?

    I completely disagree.

The many quests with families where the person who is said to be "just a child" is actually a grown adult would be made better if there were children NPCs. Or if they at least looked young, like Hildegard.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

The mods are awake though, enough to change the title of an innocuous thread :p

At the same time, it made the quest in Koglin Village, where the woman is sending you out to save her child, friggin' hilarious.

We can keep that one, I agree that it is hilarious :P

I was thinking of the one when you see a vision of the past in Betnikh, where the woman pleads for the life of her daughter and says she is only a child, but the daughter looks like a grown woman.

I hope that they at least make more young-looking characters like Hildegard for this kind of role in the future. Hildegard is much shorter than the minimum height you can make a Nord in the character creator, has soft facial features and a childish personality. If I had to guess, I would say she is on her early teens.

Ohh that's true, I forgot that she is small in werewolf form too.

Honestly, if there is one thing ZOS got better at is making good characters. The quality of character design and development in TG and DB really shows. Sure, we have a few good characters in the base game, but the TG and some DB ones are just so unique!

There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch...i mean the Thalmor...the Dutch Thalmor...
"My name is Julius Decimus Heraclius, Guildmaster of the Scions of the Sun, Brigadier of the Covenant Army, loyal servant to the High King Emeric. Brother to a betrayed legion, son to a fallen empire. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next." ---Julius Decimus Heraclius (Imperial Templar)
