Has it been going on for a few days already? I only got an email about the event today, and in the past I've missed a lot of time with these things due to the emails arriving late. I just want to find out whether or not that's happened this time. Did the festival start today, or has some of it already passed?

Man, that sucks! I hate when this happens!
If they're going to send an email to get people to participate, they should send it before the event begins, not several days afterwards!
