✭NoNononononoonoooooooooooooooo Free to play is the last dying breath of a game. You do not want anything to do with free to play. Free 2 play is also typically just a pit stop to pay 2 win. ZOS needs to keep putting out good DLCs and giving people more incentives to sub. They also need (imho) to stop making their player base angry with them over overpriced cash shop things. Have you ever played a free to play MMO before ? They make the game more expensive by charging for ability bars , charging for guild access , charging for dungeon access , PvP access and more . I can't think of one free to play game that is not extremely annoying with basic features locked behind pay walls .25 -

I had a friend log into swtor to check out the game and said gear he was wearing he earned from dungeons or missions there , he could no longer wear unless he paid to unlock access to the gear . He spent hundreds of dollars the first two years that game came out and paying subscription . Now he is treated like a bum and told pay more to wear his cloths .8 -

Yeah, Champions Online will actually lock you out of logging in on your freeform characters if you let your subscription lapse, unless you coughed up $50 to buy a freeform slot, and the rolled that character up in that slot.1 -

✭NoMost F2Ps are *** on a stick posing as a fudgesicle. Even decent ones like Warframe eventually get bought up by companies like PWE and turned into cash grabbing suck holes.
The only reason people are talking F2P is because of the devisive decisions made with ESO that disallowed the cultivation of a dedicated playerbase. ZOS tired and failed to simultaneously gather singleplayer, MMO, and PVP focused players under one roof. Without the ability to provide and subsequently support content for each type of player, and frankly the game suffers for it.4 -

✭✭✭✭✭My gut instinct is to say no, but my inner hoarder says that 9 free alt accounts means up to 5 storage guilds all to myself for 2500 extra spaces without paying a dime. If I want to make even more free accounts, I can have endless storage.
And of course this leads us to an issue or at least a perceived issue from ZOS. They don't want to give us storage (for some reason) so we start to see more and more items bind on pickup or bind to account so that we can't use all this free storage. Basically, the game twists itself to adjust for the F2P model and I'd hate to see that happen.3 -
