server pop solutions?

as far as I can tell nobody knows what the bars mean correct? exact number of players or whatever

has anyone brainstormed a solution?

the easiest seems to be to lock population for other alliances based on the lowest pop alliance - open up more servers so that if people want to play they can go to a different server - and remove this whole "guest/home" campaign - or make it so that no matter where you go you can still earn AP and XP towards your Rank - but can only progress towards Emp on your home/guest campaign?

seems like at any point of day AD/DC/EP always has lower pop and it sucks, and this doesn't really fix people who are there to PVP-E ...

1.) This is incorrect. For the most part the majority of the player base understands what the bars mean as well has how many players each bar represents. Those who may not know will be newer players. Though I would like to see an exact number of players per alliance are on, rather then a rought esimation.

2.) Locking population or restricting the population will not be a good idea. And will destory PvP in general. What I mean by this, that on Campaign "Alpha" both AD and DC has 300 players playing but EP has 50. Now on Campaign Alpha is where most of AD and DC players fight on, but EP generally doesn't play on it. So you are forcing AD and DC out of their main campaigns in order to make it "fair" for EP. Restricting the population will force hundreds to thousands of players from playing PvP.

Also adding more campaigns won't help either. For the Xbox NA servers, the developers have removed about 3 total campaigns. The the only campaigns are being highly active is Haduras and Scourge, all other campaigns are used for small scale fighting or PvE questing. So even if you add more campaigns, depending on their point system, they would most likely remain empty and be used for PvEing. And even ristricting population to be the same across all alliances to their minumal and addings more campaigns will most likely result in many half empty campaigns. As in they all may be active, but none are never fully maxed out in population.

Home and Guest campaigns should stay in the game. And so far the campaigns do work the way you stated. You are only able to become emporer in your home campaign and you can still earn AP and XP in guest campaigns. However I believe that if you are emporer in your home campaign, your emporer buffs should not be able to carry over if you go to your guest campaign. That is if the game still does this, which I think it does.

3.) This is just the way of war. And war is not meant to be fair. Again as stated in my 2nd topic. If you try to force the game to be fair for a few players, you could potentially ruin the game for the majority. Yes it does suck to go into a campaign where your alliance only has 50 and the two others are maxed on players, but that's just how the game is. And you have to remember, those 50 players chose to go into that campaign with that few players. No-one forced them in and they could choose to play on another campaign or just wait untill their alliance population increases.
