Group duels

I think adding group duels to the dueling system could add a whole new layer to duels. It would also make it possible to do 1v2 ect.

There should be a limit so you cant set up a zerg vs zerg maybe at most 4v4. The duels could get confusing but i feel like it would be up to the duelist to choose a location that people wont be in the way.

Another complaint someone might have is to much going on in towns but its not like thats not already happening with mutiple duels happening in one area at a time.

Anyone else have any input on this idea?

only if it will only work in cyrodiil and IC...

wouldn't seem like having 8 people fighting in that small bank hut in rawl'kha would be too much fun while trying to do something crazy - like bank stuff...

Edit: sorry, I normally try to be supportive or at least keep my fingers quiet concerning other folks ideas...hmmm, must be a little bored...

Honestly, I wouldn't be opposed to a "town limits" restriction on dueling.

i think that 4 / 12 person based group PVP would be interesting but would probably be best in a more organized location then the current dueling. A tournament style, with leader boards as well as some 'non-ranked'/practice options could work.

used to see all kinds if small scale battles , group duels when imperial city dropped. now its a deadzone- u can just go for a walk thru and do some shopping .

maybe they can revive the zone by giving peo0ple incentives to go there- like group duels, 2v2 areas, etc

Thought we literally just had one of these threads...

But anyhoo, I have to disagree with this idea. We have open world pvp in cyrodiil for reason. Not to mention that you would HAVE to limit it to areas outside of cities, for obvious reasons.

Why, you ask..?
Just yesterday, I ported to Marbruk and as I headed toward the outlaw's refuge a couple of duels erupted, startled me and I accidentally shot a guard. Killed! high bounty paid! Lost several thousand gold worth of stolen items and armor durability.
I hate dueling!

Sounds good. I'd just like to see one change made to all dueling:
If a city/town guard sees anyone dueling, they join in, and call on their fellow guards to help.
That doesn't seem unreasonable I think.

Then it ceases to be a duel. Duel means a contest between two people. So what you're wanting is already available elsewhere or it's just a thinly disguised "we should be able to pvp anywhere we want to" thread that we see on here regularly.

Oh good, another 7 day wonder just like the existing dueling!

Small-scale PvP is coming with battlegrounds/arenas, why not wait for that?

And I suppose it's someone else's fault that you didn't go into options and turn off attacking innocents, right?
