What does that have to do with anything?
At op, I agree and I feel this achievement is long overdue. But your epic quality requirement doesn't work as it will require you to invest skill points into the category to get the achievement, which is bad design.

Why you think that? It can be related to knowing all 9 traits and making few pieces of gold gear in every craft. You can respec and take points out afterwards.

Equipping a master crafter title would be, effectively, advertising yourself as a crafter. Now, if you want to do that, that's cool. It's your choice. But, as a full 9 trait crafter, I can honestly say, crafting orders from randos are the worst. Especially unsolicited ones.
Those aren't random examples above by the way. I've had someone ask me to craft them gear in the style I was wearing the Nord Hero costume. I've had someone who wanted Hunding's Rage Jewelry. I've had people ordering Vicious Death and Viper before. I even had someone who got really irked with me when I wouldn't craft them Kena pieces.
@runs nailed it. Though I've never had the, "here, I've got one Temper to pay for an entire gold set," personally (that I remember anyway), though I do remember a player who thought 5k gold was enough to pay for a full gold set without providing mats.
...and of course @XDragonDoomX has his Vampire set story.
There's a very real reason why, when someone's asking for a nine trait crafter in zone, they have to keep asking for awhile, and it's not because we don't exist... it's because the ****er wants Ashen Grip. *headdesks*

I also disagree with this statement. Why would you be a master crafter and not be able to make the best possible gear (which is gold quality)?

I am a maxed crafter as well and haven't experienced those issues, fortunately. You can simply choose not to wear the titl if it was implemented. I can't be bothered crafting for non guildies, even if they tip which is why I don't reply. Not because they ar obnoxious just because I don't want to spend time doing it.

+ title which you can have by have learned all motifs to one before last patch (so every 3 months -larger patch this title will be updating with requiment to have learned next motifs from patch before)

No, it's considerably easier, just time consuming. Same with the associated refiner achievement. I think they've got dyes associated with them, but I don't remember what they are, and don't have the time to log in and check at the moment.

Sounds as bad as master angler...I stood in the same spots for weeks on end fishing in a game..why that was ever a title is beyond me.

Some achievements require skill, some luck, some determination, some exploring. There is something for everyone's taste. Why that is beyond you is... insightful.

That's like saying becoming obese is an achievement. It's nothing to be proud of. But you achieved it...doesn't mean you get a glorious title. You get labelled a fat burden.

No, it is not even close to comparable... lol.

Of course they are. Both achieved from being lazy and sweaty and not bothering to do anything else (slightly OTT) but it takes no effort at all to "achieve" max ranks on crafting and buy a few books, and again buy all traits items and research them.
Daz_dingoeb17_ESO wrote: »How about we get a master crafter title if:
- character has all craft skill lines maxed
- character has learned all motifs of the base game
- character is able to make at least epic quality of food/drinks glyphs and armor/weapons
- character has researched all traits available
if those requirements are met then we should get the title and that way people will immediately know that you are a master crafter.
there could also be lesser titles like
- Master Blacksmith(if you can make epic gear have maxed the skill line and you have all blacksmithing traits researched)
- Master Clothier( the same requirements as above)
- Master Woodworker(same as above)
- Master Provisioner(able to make epic food/drinks and maxed skill line)
- Master Enchanter (able to make epic glyphs and maxed skill line)
- Master Alchemist (able to make best potions and maxed skill line)
It seems so strange to me that in a game with such a deep crafting system there is a lack of titles for the players that have dedicated their whole game time on it. Please Zenimax the crafting community needs this(also armor/weapon preview but that is another story for another post) Thanks for reading

Not so sure I agree ... with the number of exotic motifs in the crown store and for sale at guild vendors, these are getting easier to obtain. Players could be content to wait until the motif is in the crown store without spending a single minute on the grind.
Karius_Imalthar wrote: »I agree that some sort of master crafter title should be added. I have put a lot of time and gold into mastering all crafts, researching all traits, and learning all motifs.
Truthfully you can't make a title based on knowing all motifs since there are now two that were available only through the crown store.
What happens when a new motif or trait is added? Does everyone lose their title until they can learn the new things?
