TWO CP SETS FOR PVE AND PVP PLEASE!

Im sure this has been brought up in the past- but seeing as we re approaching a new update- i thought id make an appeal and try and get the attention of the powers that be:

respeccing CP every time a player goes into cyrodil or a dungeon or maelstrom is insanity. as we know- the cp distribution for a dungeon is very different to pvp.
for example: crit resistance is useless in a dungeon, invaluable in pvp.
elemental defender extremely important for maelsrtom- less so in open world.

obiovoulsy having to respec every time i do a different activity is tiring and expensive. My typical day in tamriel is do my writs, pick up any surveys if i have any, help my guildies farm any gear sets, then my pledges- maybe do a maelstrom run if I'm feel i need another infused resto staff- then go into cyrodil to satisfy my bloodlust. EACH of these activities requires a very specific CP distribution ! its bloody annoying to have to go from one to the other and respec- or simply not be as effective as I want to be!!!!!

along with the banking and inventory system- these are things that shouldn't have been overlooked from the beginning. id us simply to have TWO presets for each player - to avoid things getting out of hand.

one CP set for pvp- one set for pve.

should a player not play pvp or vice versa- then still allow two cp templates- so players can respec to different roles easily. for example a DD mag sorc- can redsitrubte as needed in a dungeon to become a healer with more point s in blessed perhaps.

ZOS- the CP should be an advantage in versatility and build exploration = it should allow players to come up with interesting and creative solutions to problems- NOT A HINDERENCE. by making CP a cost- and only allowing one build- it pushes players to go for conservative and cookie cutter builds- rather than experimenting and coming up with something new and interesting.

So ZOS- we know you've got a lot of work to do before the next patch, balance updates, proc sets, inventory, housing, etc, etc- but a simple and much needed feature is CP flexibility.

just give us TWO PRESETS- PLEASE!!!

What you said and for console having set bars like PC has. Would also like to see respecting 1 skill or morph at a time instead of everything.

While I see your point- it should be noted that you can have multiple characters. You could have one specced for PVP, one for normal PVE, and one for Maelstrom/end game trials.

The CP system is an advantage as well. You don't HAVE to spec any points into the constellations. By doing so- you're only improving on your character's build... not hindering it.

You could evenly distribute points on one character that would help with PVP, PVE, and arenas- and still be better off than someone with little to no CP.

Just sayin'... you're complaining that you filet mignon needs a better side of caviar to go with it.
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

I completely agree. Running PvE/PvP build switches should be implemented or at least considered. Sure, the fees for the switches are negligible, but they take almost 30 minutes just to redistribute CP, change gear, reset morphs (sometimes skills), change skill allocations, and, depending on the character, attribute bonuses. Not to mention changing mundus as well.

Dual Spec for ESO plus members would be perfectly okay with me. I might even pay a few bucks more a month.

no i dont think I am. I think what I'm asking for is reasonable and very feasible.
Im no pro- but i do want to be good at something while I'm doing it- and dont think i should be criticised for that. comparing me to someone without cp is idiotic- I'm not competing against those players. I'm competing against myself and the dungeons- and other players with max cp. maybe your new to this game- maybe your not very good at it and you like to just run around picking flowers. whatever..
I m at a point where I am shooting for leaderboard scores on Maelstrom each week- and getting within the 100 each week of 2 classes, Im also competitive in pvp- but would like to be moreso- maybe its my competitive side but i want every advantage i can get. cp plays a massive role in maelstrom- and in dungeons, a reason why peoples criteria for dungeons isn't class , role or skill- its cp. the game is built around it. if it s in something irrelevant it might as well not be there. a healer can be turned into a DD with CP alone- and i have seen one of my characters DPS go from mediocre to trial standard with advice on CP redistribution .
things like crit resistance have no use in maelstrom- but are essential in pvp. having to respec each time i go back and forth is a pain. yes i do have multiple characters thank you for pointing out the obvious- I've made mag and stam variations of each class- but dont have enough slots to do pvp and pve variations of that also.

actually are you sure you dont work for Zos customer support? your uselessness would be valued there.

so yes- if i'm, spending ALOT of time and money dragging this dead cow I would like it the way I ordered it- with a side of caviar thanks. - and so should everyone else- because if you havent noticed? the other cows in the area are being served the way their customers like it. and when you have a happy cow you get good milk- and wait- i m lost..........well theres no point taking this analogy further. you either get it or you don't.

Uncle Sheo needs your CP gold donations to buy cosmic cheese. You do love your Uncle Sheo, right? You wouldn't want him to go off on some weird hunger-induced racist rant, would you? Then let him have his cosmic cheese. It's the cosmiciest.

Nah. Make a darn choice! Stick to it, live with it.
Or deal with the hassle of always recpeccing.

But I am so sick of the people who think they are entitled to having their cake, and eating it too.

Pick yopur character. Decide what you'll focus on, PvE or PvP. Then spec max effectiveness for that. Or go with some half-half build and learn how to make up for not having that last percentage point of super-effectiveness.

Sometimes I wish they would hide ALL the game machanics, so people wouldn't get so hung up on builds and calculations, but go with the flow of the game instead... I mean, really, its like they don't see the forest for all the spreadsheets anymore...

But I guess that's me from my roleplayer background...

I could see if you wasn't 561 but I never change my CP it'd the same setup for PvP as I do in VMA and I am on the weekly every week.only time I change is for trials and even then sometimes I forget to change it my time with my CP set up for raiding and for both PvP/Pve is a few seconds at best.Your worrying about nothing and wasting money.
