I never understood ZOS pricing on things. Who wants to pay that much for a skin. They should drop the mount costs to $10-$15 and would sell a ton more. Then again, they make decisions like putting RNG proc sets into a PVP environment to take skill completely out of the equation... so I don't expect they will change their ways....NA Server - Kildair6 -

That is exactly how I am interpreting this as well. Disappointing but not at all unexpected.

That's my feeling regarding the pricing too. No doubt there will be plenty of "no one is forcing you to buy it" in the coming days as opposed to someone was standing next to us with a loaded gun, or wife/husband/partner threatening you with a divorce/break-up if you didn't buy the crates.
I've always been a firm believer in if you actively encourage one gouge, you encourage the next. I just feel I had to extend my faux concern to shopaholics or the "must have" kids that will be forced to steal their parent's cards so they can buy the latest snazzy mount.1 -
