Atleast the 2.7 patch notes imply there is. Also I don't think anyone in their right mind would run Spectre's Eye set (plus it has a quite easy to spot animation of the character turning half invisible, as far as I remember). Terrible set bonuses, and an activation sound that drives you crazy every 6 seconds.
From 2.7 notes:
