Cannot give WW scratch (Have passive, player does nto have vampire/ww disease, Quest for WW reset)

I got the WW quest again out the blue, to get a cure or to get the blessing. I even completed the quest thinking it would fix, but im still unable to scratch anyone at the alter. I have the passive, and I assume if i re-spec ill be able to do it, but i dont want to waste my gold.

As of right now im losing out on gold. Please fix, ive submitted at icket. I'm willing to bet Chet will dismiss it and ill have to send in another one.

Had the same issue with guild member trying to give me a bite.

Figured it out eventually and got it done.

WW infecting has been difficult since I can remember. Why I don't bother with it anymore just can be stupid frustrating at times

If this is what I think it is, then it doesn't let you devour with a full timer. You have to move away from the shrine until the timer depletes, then go back to the shrine. You will then be able to devour. If it's some other problem, then disregard.

I seem to remember you have to be at the WW shrine.

the positioning is really weird for ww bites, you have to be a bit away from the player and not exactly centered to get the prompt; most of the time when I bite someone, it shows me chewing on the dirt while they are laying down 10 feet away from me.

If you are in Bangkorai you probably will need to swim out into the lake about 50' and then return to the shrine for the prompt to come up. It's always been that way for me at least (since launch).
